Hope scam ICOs will. But it's gonna be a disaster if good projects will lose an opportunity to rise because of it.

ICO's will still be around next year but the success of them might not be as great as it's predecessors.  We might see projects raising much less funds because people are more selective with their investments.  ICO's aren't turning out the immediate profits as they use to when they first are listed on the exchanges.

ico's are the next big thing, during the next year there are going to be thousands of new ico's, this phenomen is something that will never end. And most of the ico's are good programs who are offering a lot of good stuff, but well, there are some ones who are crap too.

I think in 2018 there will be more icos than 2017, since many people still looking for new investation and many ico hold their launch near holidays. Many people think a lot of ico was scam but a few of them is really success and real.if we just looking for the ico that already big or have a company outside crypto world then the token and coin the ico sell is unreachable for us who wanna invest but with small capital. I think with kickstater ico we could have a chance to blooming our money because the token that ico sale its not expensive and reachable.

2018 will be a blossoming year for ICOs, somewhere by autumn everything will calm down and go into decline. Unless, of course, there are some incredible unforeseen things. Another point of view says that everything will collapse as soon as the governments of countries introduce restrictions. And they are starting to implement it already.

ICO's will continue, they are a valuable way of funding innovative cryptocurrency projects. Hopefully investors will stop being stupid and funding the projects that should never see the light of day. There are far to many projects being run by people that should not be trusted to run a lemonade stand.

i don't think ICO will die in 2018 because ICOs are great. They are gaining money, they can easily get participants. There's no reason for ICO to die in 2018

Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.
Agree, I know there is a good ICO out there but with so much bad one, lost my trust.

I also question the move by some of this existing companies to enter the space to raise money, but who don't want free money but the question is what have they done with the fund they have already before asking for new one

I think not, I believe 2018 is the year for ICO. Plenty of ICO's might
not flourish or survive as some might expect but a definite number
of upcoming ICOs will surely endure and outlast it's competition.
ICO for the coming year would be more sophisticated, secured,
better team, better funding, well manage, clean, mature and
scrupulously well built structure. This must be the new trends in
order to attract more investors and participants. Better opportunities
for the contributors and also with the members.

I think it will not. It may drop its value but it is not likely to definitely end. now that ico are becoming more powerful in the industry, it will not certainly die.

Ico wont die, but the number of Icos will decrease. People will start to know what ico is good and bring profit, they start to ignore scam ico so we will have fair game in 2018.

ICO will not die on 2018. The process will still be on going. Many people patronize and engage in this ICO because of its decentralized kind of organization. And I think this is why ICOs will remain as long as people are still engage and forever will be patronizing this organization. There are lots of benefits that ICOs can give.

You said it already that companies improve their ways to get rid of scammers. In this way we can have a better access to ICO and be always mindful in every input that you did.

ICO projects are based mostly on trust and you have access to the whole roadmap and whitepaper - if you like it, you can invest, if not, nobody force you to do that.

No, I don't think ICO projects will be gone or will slow down. Instead, I am sure it will sprout next year. Many ICO's will launch by next year offering new ideas and solutions.

I don't think ICO will die. There will be a massive proliferation of ICO rather.

I think will see more money grab ICO's.
Now, the trend is like people are loosing trust in ICO.
