As of my understandings ICO will rise further in year 2018. There will be many more good ICOs will be here and people will love them as always.

In my opinion ICOs have good idea and strong advantages compared to venture capital. I think they will create big financial bubble and it will lead to strong financial regulations like on stocks market. I understand that most of ICOs are startups and most of them will fail. It can lead to the bubbles like dotcom era. But the market will regulate it well over the long-term.

I'm not sure if ico in 2018 will die, because with the passage of time, technicians blockchain technology is increasing, and the developers will always create something new. Ico will always be there because humans love something new and they will make it happen by doing fundraising (ico)

I suppose that ICOs in 2018 will move to a new level. The amount of project will be reduced, but the quality should be improved for sure. Moreover I guess that in 2018 ETH will share the place of the top ICO platform with NEM, NEO and other projects.

I fully support you, I want this to happen Wink

As has been observed over the years, "innovative" businesses tend to emerge on a cyclical basis, generating high returns, but with the passing of days they tend to be displaced by new business models that end up replace them. I do not think that the end of the ICOs will occur in 2018, but I do believe that their growth will slow down this year and perhaps by 2019 they will only be remembered as an anecdote in the online business world, as I have already heard interesting business models to emerge soon.

You will agree with me that majority of the altcoins out there are products of ICOs. That said, t shows that ICO is not bad after all, but a few bad eggs are trying to paint it black. I don't think ICO will die neither should it be abandoned because of those few. For instance, if we had abandoned Bitcoin because of the few that are using it to defraud others and even launder money for wrong motives then I don't think any of us would be in this forum today. ICO should stay

ICO's won't die unless there are no more investors who supports and make their project successful. Some ICO's can just fail or succeed, that's just the fact about it. Maybe ICO's can die if they are all scam, someone will stop it.

I hope it at least gets regulated so people have a place to turn to when it turns out to be a scam.

I think that ICO in 2018 maybe not die but the number of all ICO projects will be small.  now we can see a lot of ICO is not promising and they do not have the funds to build a project.  can say the number of ICO will decrease this year. just my guess only.

I think the ico will change into something better than yesterday and there is a regulation to control the ico so people won't be afraid to get lost their money. I think the dev will make a different approach for their investor so the investor could feel comfortable, safe while their invest the money. I am sure that there is a new innovation from the dev that could attract more investor to the project so they can reach another success in the future.

The first thing I looked in any Ico that I participated in and joined is the expertise of the people behind it, are they really real people, what are their expertise and how they are going to make it and the most important is reputation in their field, they should be real people.

Aside from that, it will be a good point to know if these minds behind the ICO's concept had already past experienced of projects where blockchain is involved. If they have already past project/s that went to success, that'll be big bonus in my opinion.

ICO will never die. This industry is just beginning to develop just like the crypto currency. I think that these projects will become better and there will be a society that will check the quality of new projects

That's right, I also think so, because we will probably see regulation by the state in the ICO. As far as I know, it is already underway, because there was no KYC procedure before, and now almost every project uses this procedure.

We must focus on eleminating the SCAM coins instead of killing ICO. ICO is good and most of the good coins got this point with ICO. Solutions itself causes another problem, The SCAM.

ICO is not dying in 2018. If there is any expectation at all concerning ICO, we are going to see more ICO coming to cryptocurrency market to raise fund. ICO is a brilliant way to raise fund for projecy that hitherto might been rejected by mainstream. What people do with ICO proceed is entirely different issue.

Yes its true people are focusing on working product before investing into ICO because of lots of scam whitepaper and fake website and portfolio people started look on working product atleast demo mode . Some ICO going forward and giving webinars . In 2018 ICO scammers will die not ICO's.

The only solution is to educate people, they need to understand that crypto is not a easy get rich scheme, it's a risky investment but has a great potential.
What I have observed is that every year the entire market is growing so I am expecting we will surpass the success in the past year.

I sure hope not. I mean there are a lot of people that has been helped by joining ICO campaigns. That is why it is very important for us to have something to look forward to in terms of source of income. In addition, not only that ICOs reduce the unemployment rate, but the decrease of poverty as well because it helps people earn money.
