ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

Thirst for easy money is always stronger than fear of running into a scam. Therefore ICO live and will live.

Off course not, ico will still dominate in this year 2018, and ico will still be one of the best source of income, participating in a good ico will surely help us to have a big amount of money and ico has 0% chance to die because until nlw ico is still supporting by many people in crypto.

I think we need ICO for good interesting projects that really use blockchain that some problem. I don't like this trend making ico for every startup.

I think that was just the very beginning for the ICO's industry. Crowdfunding and VC capital business will most definitely suffer.
I guess China will make ICO legal again in 2018.

Its true that the year 2017 was the year of ICO rush but beyond every reasonable doubt 2018 will surpass 2017 in term of ICO. There are lot of ICOs coming up this year. I was going through icobench website last night, they already have over 250 ICOs to watch out for in the year the year 2018.

Icos will never die because crypto world will alway need new coins to stay a live. New projects and Icos will bring more attention to markets. Everyone will benefit from this.

Im personally a fan of ico. I like to invest in good Ico's. But in the last month there are to many ICO's. Sometime i think everybody is making and ico just for the money. There are less good project behind the ICO's. So it will be good when the flood will stop.

i dont think ICO will die immediately this year thats very impossible. if you say "SOME" of the ICO dies this year maybe YES. those untrusted icos and scam project will only die this year for sure. Good projects are came come from the group of good developers that brings good ICO also so its hard to eliminate quickly as that.

I would likely see PC games creators to use ICO instead of venture. As far as I can understand, those two things are made for each other.

ICO's will stick around but will become heavily regulated at some point in 2018 I feel. Waaaay too many scams & poor projects doing ICO's at the moment as it's seen as an easy way to make a huge amount of money quickly.

I don't want any coin to be regulated. It doesn't matter if the coin has a crowdsale or not, people should do what they want and the investors should know enough to see if the project might scam or not.

I think that in 2018,  will resist only ICO what they really have to offer and have a strong back team.
An ico to resist in the long run must have something palpable to offer.

If there is no ICO, then the average person loses the opportunity to invest. Many potential projects will be monopolized by institutions. So I don't think ICO will die.

The problem with ICO now a day is that they are raising, expecting a lot more money then the best coins from pre 2017, to build things that require a lot less money. That's not sitting right with me. For that I rather put my money on established coins.

I don't think ICO's will die in 2018, but will stay the same or maybe grow.

This is because as long as the price of Bitcoin, ETH and other popular alt coins increase people will look for the cheaper alt coins that they could get rich off. Also as long as ICO's are not regulated, anyone can create one.

I dont think that Ico will die in 2018. That is really great way for project to get money from investors. Ico is the way how all people around the word can be holders of the project.

This year everything will be just better and better. The investors themselves became more competent in the issue of qualitative ICO. Scammers simply will not survive, and talented companies that deserve attention will be able to attract more and more investment for their products.
