I don't think ICO's will die in 2018.

As long as the media keeps talking about Bitcoin and the price keeps rising, you are going to get more and more people who are looking for the next Bitcoin.

I agree with your point if view. In addition, I think that people have already begun to look for the next Bitcoin. I think so because ICO has recently been rapidly gaining in popularity and the number of investors is steadily increasing.

Only government interference can kill ico, once government decide to regulate ico, projects without good intention will not make it. But it think the time has not yet come. I see many scam ico this year because some scammer are just aware how much money they can make doing ico.

I think it will not because when cryptos are continuing to be popular and its getting more attention from the media and the ordinary citizens. As this event continue to happen it will never stop or die. Now is the most active season of the cryptos and i see them continuing to do so.

ICO will not die and it will never be. Cryptocurrency is already accepted in the world as a big source of making profit specially for the business minded people. So I can confidently say that this kind of noise will actually not hit the reality but just a kind of bubble.

I'm not sure ICOS will actually die because there are many people who are not mine or programmers to create new coins and technologies. Without investors, altcoin and Bitcoin markets will die, so we need investments and different places to invest so capital can flow to and from the cryptocurrency market.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

But a lot of crypto-newbies gamble with them thinking they know what they're doing and that crypto is all about pumping and dumping random "projects". These people ignore, or not even aware what crypto stands for and just giving a bad name to it. And they will eventually get burned and hate cryptos altogether. Profits aren't made from nothing, it comes from other people's losses.

True, it just affects the acceptability of cryptocurrencies even harder specially as the increasing number of victims from different ICO scams though I'm not saying they don't have any advantages and all of them are fake but it is become uncontrollable and being exploited by different people who just want to earn money true lies.

In my prediction the ICOs in 2018 is not surely die until there is an investors to invest their company, perhaps some of the rules they may change. The investors they double their research in that ICOs to avoid scam.

see its many ico that developed in 2017 and success, i think 2018 will be in flood with new ico. well, this may not be the end of ico, but, this year, it will be a lot of new ico development. I think of it that way.

that was a hard question to answer. in fact thanks to scammer out there. they make ton of shit token everyday just to scam new trader and investor. that make a true ICOs not very succeed because all aware to scammer now. im have a hard time to trust new icos as to many are down before start. that why i invest only to strong coin and tokens only.

And how do you choose these strong projects? I also think that I invest in good projects, but there is nothing that can guarantee us stability. Therefore, crypto currency is a big risk.

I suppose that ICO in 2018 will move to a new level. The amount of project will be reduced, but the quality should be improved for sure.
