Will ICO die in 2018?

ICO's will not end this year hence it may grow further. I see that a lot of people still believe even there are scammers that cause distrust in ico's. It will not die as long as there are investors and developers who want to earn and also many people are new in this  industry that will be interested since you can get cheap tokens in ico and might be successful once it is on the exchange. (ex. Electroneum 11x as of this writing).

For the sake of the cryptocurrency market I hope that the ICO will be limited by a lot ...... every day comes a new cryptocurrency and many are scams or senseless projects ....... there are already over 1500 cryptocurrencies .. I really hope that in 2018 they will ban new ICOs

I think ICO banned will even add to the worsening situation. I think strict rules would be a better option for this case

Why should ICO die? People can definitely put their money on good products. This is a good way to make good things happen, but be smart when you invest your money.

I agree with you, there is no a good reason to make ICO die in this year, 2018. There are numerous ICO exist and I think there will be more ICO to produce; but it's just some of them will be worth it.

No I don't think they will ever be stopped. It is their source of income, scamming out people who has little knowledge on crypto. I'm sure they will be popping out with new name and new coins to scam people.

I also thought and I think that the ICO will not go anywhere, except that it will only gain some outlines of the state regulator, but in no case more than that and with the passage of time it will be harder to find a worthy project.

I don't think so. I think most of average bitcointalk.org members relies mainly on joining ico. So if icos will end in 2018, most of the members of this organization will banish and that is a disaster because is a great number of cryptocurrency users. It will greatly affect the crypto community. So ending ico is just next to impossible. But still, this is not impossible, i'm not to oppose my idea, in reality there is no certainty that things will happen absolutely.

Exactly. Strict rules and check the backgrounds. Some of my friends are victim of scams bounty campaign and i hope my first signature campaign is not a scam or else i’m gonna find a new way to make a profit. I will not trust the ICO anymore.

 that is currently investing on these ico's because they can actually see that ico's are much cheap and at the same time can guarantee or assure that they can get much return for their invested capital. however keep in mine that there are still also many ico's  that tends to keep scamming people.

No, it will not. With all the altcoin ICOs coming, I would say that it would actually be better this year. Besides, the market for the cryptocurrency is still going strong so I don't think it will come to an end soon.

I hope it won't . Yes , a lot of them is just a shitty scam , but another part is a perspective startups , which can bring a new ideas and technologies into the crypto world and real life .

I don't think we will see ICO's die unless there is something drastic that happens such as continent bans or worldwide regulation. As long as the media is still looking into Bitcoin and as long as they are seen as a profitable thing, ICO's will exist.

I do not think that ICO will disappear so quickly and disappear altogether. I think ICO in 2018 may be better and the number of projects will decrease, but the quality should be improved with certainty.

While the old ico already released their product to the crypto users, some icos already done with their product and i remember there will be more icos will try to issued their product to public.
So many platform already work on the beta version.

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

Telling the truth I don’t see any good program idea of ICO in 2018. A lot of tinsel but no real sense, practical perspectives. But ICO as a form will not die in a near future. The lack of good ideas is some kind of crisis, nothing more.

I think this is certainly inevitable! But not yet in 2018. The fall will begin, well, in 2019, ICO will die completely!
