ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.
I was reading your bold sentence and it seems just another bullshit. Can you give me the more explanation about why was kickcity using the ico to raise the fund? I just know that you are trying to promoting your project rather than open a public discussion about the existence of ico in the future.

Exactly, i red the op post several times and couldn't understand why the last part of the post is relevant.
Nevertheless ICO should be regulated and 2018 will not be end of the ico's, possibly we will see change how it is done, possibly more projets will use escrow.

ICO won't die unless the majority countries prohibit ICOs. Even then it's possible to change the name to smth like Token Sale Wink

Yes! I agree with you,ICO will not die in 2018. however, is beginning to stall as a growing number of regulators worldwide turn their attention to the ICOs world and have decided to come into action. China recently (2017)decided even to ban these ICOs. And others such as the US SEC, Singapore, Hong Kong, and others trying to follow though in a more lighter variant.

not dying at all the market will hit more highs

but you need to be more careful and always do due diligence as there will be more scams, fraud attempts and cash grabs

ICO will not die in 2018 but it will be harder for teams without product ot prototype to rise money. The same already hapened in Venture Capital market.

Also we will see in 2018 lots of blochchain projects that will be based on currently working centralized services. Telegram is the nearest good example.

Not a chance. They may prioritize quality over quantity as many of the big boys are joining the wave. But for sure ICO won't die in 2018. We have just only seen the beginning.

Now ICO on the top. Even SCAM projects look like candy and can bring profit to investors. But right when I see the project with the current business, want to invest.

I am sure that most people will answer no to this question. However ICOs may die in the way we currently know them, as something a bit wild, unregulated, where is difficult to tell good from bad... it is the wild west but eventually the farmers will arrive.

Funny question but I don't think ICOS would die, more and more would spring up , a lot of companies are seeing they can actually generate funds from ico, they are beginning to see more advantages and instead of doing an initial public offering where they offer shares to the public in order to generate funds they'll carry out an initial coin offering and concerning choosing from which icos to invest in, I'll prefer choosing an ico that already has a working product, it's more safer.

Look at 2017, ICO's was insanely successful, so ICO is not dying in 2018 or any time soon. So, this sphere will only increase, leaving without profit the banks to which used to apply for loans for the development of business or projects.

I do not think that ICO will die in 2018.I hope it will increase in 2018 in next level and it will be more better in future.
More and more platforms are emerging and ICO will not die anytime soon.

I believe ICO will born in 2018.. It is just a beginning. But probably will appear some kind of regulator, otherwise to many scam and cheaters. Someone need to control all that ICO´s.. But, let´s wait and see what going to happen.

ICOs are an amazing way to earn funding for your project, in my opinion there will be way more ICOs in 2018 and we are probably gonna see more regulation coming in from all around the world.

If the ICO does not begin to regulate, then there is a risk that in 2018 it will begin to die. Investors have already lost a lot of money on all sorts of shitty projects and they will prefer to invest in bitcoin than in the ICO.
