the strategy is chosen by everyone personally, it is very difficult to advise, if you know how to trade, then trade, if you do not know how, then just invest

For me it depends on the situation like now the market price was to low the hold it until my money that I invest was gaining profit. But if the price was ups and down then thats the time I'll do it in short term.

Presentation to invest in long term and short term, in my opinion, is the same. And can I invest long term and 50% for Bitcoin Ethereum. And short-term investments is also 50%. And we can invest in Altcoin.

Short term trading is profitable the time that market is alive. But now I dont think it is profitable now that price of cryptocurrency slowly moving downward.
So I now prefer long term holding, after market fully recover.

For me, long term investments are better. It is predicted that 2018 will be the year of altcoins which is why I think focusing on altcoins is the best choice. You can invest in Ethereum and hold it. If you want short term investments, you can choose new coins from ICO.

Whether you hold long term and in short term depends on your own risk. We need to be smart in trading and investing especially now market is bleeding and no sign of recovering.

It is hard to say. It definitely depends on how much money you want to invest and what is the time you need that money, If you want weekly earning you choose short-term, but if you want great amounts that don't depend on payments in a year or two you choose long-term.

I am guided by the principle of the Golden section at the usual time, in other words 80 to 20. 20% off free (!!!) money conditionally live in a risk zone, 80% play on deduction. In rare cases, the balance may shift to sharp attacks, but they are not more than 10-15%.

I prefer to invest more often for a short distance because I like to get a quick though small profit and if investing for a long time, then the total investment does not exceed 20% of the portfolio.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
Altcoins I hold for them, but the bitcoin and you can trade. It all depends on your desire, how much you want to earn. If you are a beginner, you should only dolgosrok, this is my advice to you.

I am always a long-term choice for the moment, but it depends on when the market falls or grows, making long-term or short-term decisions. I always hold long term when the market falls and vice versa

Gradually, from the ratio of 40/60 (short-term/medium-term investments), I moved to the mid-term and long-term (about 20/80), and scalping transactions, despite the positive dynamics, no longer interested at all.

In my opinion, the long term, the market is down, if the short-term hold will not be profitable, which will give you the inadequacies of worry and so you will make decisions are not wise.

Buying at any dio and selling at the peak thats what i do, if the market treatens my profit of 50 percent from my target I would sell and rebuy at the next dip, hodling long term is not bad but you are missing the profit that you already had.

I think the market conditions that are red like now make us have to be patient, I prefer long-term investments, in my opinion it is difficult to get big profits if we rely on short term or daily trading.

I choose projects that will bring good profits after a long time. It seems to me that such a strategy will suit most players. You just need to decide on the coins and forget about them for a long time. Sometimes it's hard to resist selling when the price rises. But if you have patience and wait, then the result will be much more good.

short-term is the choice while the market is growing, long-term hold is the choice while the market is falling now, so depending on when we should make the right decision

my portfolio has about this distribution ...: 80% hold for a long time and 20% for a short period. I think this is the correct distribution of the deposit

If I choose to hold a BTC or ETH, I will choose the long term, and if I hold the other coin, I will choose short term, because the short term will give us low profits, but long term will bring higher income
