I'm betting on long-term investment. But I also do not neglect day trading. This is a good opportunity to earn.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think that short trade is quite dangerous, because the crypto-currency market is difficult to predict, in addition, a small capitalization allows large market participants to change the price as they need! Trade on long time intervals will give you more opportunities and time to maneuver!

I think the long term is definitely better than the short term, although it will make a profit in the short term, but the long-term profit will be much higher than the short-term profit.

It all depends on how you have steel eggs. Because personally I do not have such patience for short-term investments, so I never participate in margin trading. Since I believe that this is more like a casino than a normal trading.

I will use a long-term percentage of more number of comparisons. Investing with crypto, in my opinion, would be better done in the long run to be able to get the maximum profit. With the continuous development of crypto and everyday users continue to increase. I think crypto will also be appreciated with a high value in the future. While for the short term, I will only use it for a few coins only which I think the coin has a higher ability than the other coins in order to increase the price.

For long term choose altcoins that are proven already in this crypto world. The cycle of coins in the market and it's investors. Long term like btc and eth is already reliable to invest. For short term choose altcoins that can pump up soon.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
Longer-term risks are smaller.

Honestly I have no enough patient to hodl coins for a long. So short time hodling is my favorite. My max hodling time was about 1 year. Because that coin I bought did not mooned as I assumed. LOL. In my side, short time hodling is a best way to make quick cash but also risky.

It’s really depends on what coins that we are talking about. But for me I go for bitcoin for long term. Because of the current value of bitcoin and how it changes overtime we cannot say when it will go up and down. So it’s better to hold. If we talking about short term I will go to other altcoins. You can do buy and sell every time market changes.

For the moment, i prefer short term investment. As Bitcoins and altcoins go easily down very fast. It is better to not be too greedy.

I prefer doing long term investment because i don't have time to do short trading, but before i put my money into any coin, firstly i try to learn the fundamental of that coin and research again the advantages and benefits of each coin and then i put my money in those coin. In my prediction my Holden coins have much potential to go up in long term.

Indeed, trade over long periods of time is the most reliable and on average profitable. Trade on a short distance is very risky, but you can earn in days as many as the holder will earn in a few months.

I choose long-term, short-term investment I do not have the technical strength operation, may lose money, and long-term investment, I think right now, suitable for long-term investment, easy to obtain higher profit.

I barely never invest for short term.  You need much more skills for trading than for investing.  And it can be also very risky. Of course if you are experienced,  gains are I think higher.
Still, I prefer the long term investments, I choose very carefully the bitcoin and I believe that they have a really value for the users or the market.

each coin can be predicted even if not completely true and in fact we only need to see from the indicator chart along with the volume every 24 hours, if the price difference is more than the fluctuations of other coins, then the coin is very suitable for short term and vice versa. All coins that have a volume above rata2 have the potential for scalping system.

I'm a very inexperienced trader so I usually invest in the long term. I try to sell a part of the portfolio at the key moments of the market falls and jumps but I have no time and patience to trade every day

I think it all depends on the coin.  I hold some coins for a long term.  Some on short.

In this matter, a lot depends on how you feel about what you are a person, if you like to take risks and you are ready to take risks every day, then you can try short-term investments, if you still do not like to take risks, but this is only my opinion, although I read the branch and saw that I do not think so alone.
