It's amazing, how some people think it's acceptable that the Ripple comapany still holds 60% of all XRP..
Also the founders still have at least 10% on top of that!

Your third reason is the answer i think. In the other hand people choose Ripple because of it is easy to use and do trade. Another reason for your question is maybe they are usin it for easy and cheaper transactions.

A lot of new people just joined to cryptocurrency and when they see something is increasing they start to buy this kind of coins, new investitors helped Ripple pump very much.
Yes, it is the main reason why the people bought ripple in my personal opinions due to if i see the function of ripple to be used for currency in the banks, it is still the plan for the future i don't see all of the banks mass addoption ripple in their business especially in remittance of the banks, due to the price of ripple rised and there is chance to getting profit instantly so many people bought them and we can see right now the price of ripple started down trend again. |

Well everyone trust banks so why wouldnt they invest but besides ripple its high now and its a good time to invest tho will see in the future whats gonna happen. Even banks are using it now. Seems strange. They joined our game.

Why do people buy Ripple? There is one simple answer on your question — everybody wants to get maximum profit. At first, only enthusiasts bought XRP, but now, when in 2017 it made 40,000% pump, nobody wants to lose a chance. People buy potential new Bitcoin, but it’s too far from BTC!

It seems that Ripple has slowed down a bit . But right now its hard to tell sine Korean excahnges are taken out, they are the main force behin uptrend movement in cryptos. Any way right now the main speculation is that when Coinbase will add it to their portfolio it will go trough the roof.
