Lol Ripple is definitely not the currency of the future, unless all the banks support it. It is not even decentralized, and it is bad for the crypto space. Hopefully its bull run is over.

Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?
We should not see at any big pump of the coin because the future of anything is not by just pump one time .
Here also no doubt that ripple is better coin not only by price but also by technology because it is worldwide using coin by banks , so here we can say that this coin has really value in the international banking market .
But here if we will discuss toward 30000% like things to jump in price then I will say that , we should see towards another coins like putin , LTD whose price increases into about 40000% but in actual what they are you can see at the exange .

It cannot be denied that Ripple really paved it's way to this crypto market world. It is natural that we expect Ripple will still increase in its value for the coming years but there will be also a time for it that the value will slow down. A lot of users and player of these crypto currencies I think is really not in favor of incorporating this cryptos to regular banks and any other regular financial institution for the reason that these cryptos later on can be regulated with its value and it circulation. Ripple in my opinion can only be good for investment and any other purposes it may serve but not for future currencies. It may affect largely the economy.

I wouldn't be so optimistic, this just can be the same story like in spring 2017 and we all know the end...the question is, what different happened expect accusation from R3 vs Ripple and vice versa. The good question is also why the hell is on CBCN step by step guide 'how buy ripple'. I would like to know real investment, maybe it's just 1/100 of total market cap. In these days is not problem increased value any coin with relative small funds especially when market is under control whales. This is very dangerous for whole crypto world

Is Ripple the currency of the future?

It depends on whom are you asking that question. After all, ripple is a token used by banks, in a centralized system, which is quite the opposite of what cryptocurrency stands for. So a bitcoin and libertarian enthusiast will say NO.
On the other hand, the newbies who have just discovered crypto and are in for a fast profit, may ride along and put their small savings into xrp. So if you ask any of them, they will be all in.
There are 2 big sides on this matter and they both want more. It's more a problem of who convinces more people. Where the majority will stand, that's where the futures stands.

How many people here believe that Ripple is another game from banker and this is far from true decentralization?

The only reason why it is growing and taking its place is that banks are pushing hard on it and investing in the future of Ripple while other people don't see the full picture and follow the crowd. It will fall badly finally.

To be honest, the society we have been living in has all been centralized, it's no wonder if the centralization part also becomes the dominant on the internet, XRP is backed by the banking system and already started adoption, if you're comparing banking system backing with few whales, eventually bankers will win because they also control fiat some how.

About a year ago I decided to take a friends tip and invested in XRP and ETH. My life wasn't in a great place and I was in a tremendous amount of credit card debt but was able to use some of the ETH to dig out of the hole while holding on to the XRP. I told myself I would hold until I could afford to pay my debt down completely.Well, last month I finally paid off all of my debt while also giving some money to my brother to pay for part of his college tuition. If you find a coin and believe in the founders and the platform and its many applications don't be afraid to hold. I'm not a millionaire, hell not even a hundred-thousandaire but I am debt free and am able to help out my family.

It can be so. Ripple’s digital coin, XRP acts as a bridge for other currencies which includes both fiat and cryptocurrencies. In Ripple’s network, any currency can be exchanged between one another.

Ripple will not be able to beat Bitcoin or Ethereum, maybe the ripple now occupies the second position, but look at it a few months later, people will further utilize Ethereum and also make Bitcoin as the mother of all coins
and RIP-ple will just be a decoration in cmc

No way if we use our brains as the sole purpose of bitcoin which introduced blockchain tech was to move away from centralized agencies! But then anything is possible when you have too much dump money in the market.

Fuck Ripple and every retarded centralized shitcoin. Will that suffice for an answer?
Exactly, i mean ripple is here to try to bring the banksters in the crypto game, but i think ad hope are not retarded and will invest into something like ripple that's only here to take away their freedom just like fiat currency. Crypto is about  getting away from the banks not closer.

I personally dislike Ripple, due to the fact that it is centralized, which, contradicts the sole nature of cryptocurrencies. The risk, therefore, is substantially bigger than in other cases (as if there isn't enough risk already in every single cryptocurrency). Currently, I'm investing in ICO's and I'm pretty satisfied with this decision, regardless of the negative comments that I heard about them. As long as a person does their research properly and efficiently, the high ROI will be inevitable (in a positive manner). I'm currently considering an investment in Cointed - an upcoming ICO. Have you heard anything about it? I read a lot about them and I really like the idea behind the project, alongside with the fact that the ICO is backed by many investors, such as Nvidia and TAS Group. Give it a look and let me know what you think.

Bankers know they can't compete with the blockchain, so they play it smartly by create and supporting ripple. Even though Ripple is known to be centralized I'm sure it will sustainable because many bankers is supporting, and it does not close the possibility goverment will regulate Ripple easier.

Why on earth would banks need or want Ripple? They can already exchange funds easily using existing centralized networks -- blockchain is useless in that context.

I understand ripple is an equivalent of SWIFT or SEPA systems, I see many reasons why they would like to go for ripple instead
