It's sad to see many people investing into useless tech like XRP. They do it in good faith and lose their money. It would be so easy to do 30 minutes of research to understand, why XRP cannot compete with real cryptos, and also isn't useful to banks either. It would make no sense for banks to touch XRP. Please be careful with these empty hype coins, people.

as long as i can get advantage of xrp i think it does not matter.

They are all investing in XRP just to follow the trend but they are not realizing about the fact that the ripple foundation is trying to build the platform to give an innovation about the facility of network infrastructure to the bankers. If you remember ceo of ripple said ripple aims to build worldwide interbank open payment system and that's all.

I consider it impossible xrp in use as global currency Because xrp belongs to the company so that can only be used as a tool  Make it easy in performing various salaries of employees.But xrp also has a big role to the transaction system when there is a sudden need.

To be honest, the society we have been living in has all been centralized, it's no wonder if the centralization part also becomes the dominant on the internet, XRP is backed by the banking system and already started adoption, if you're comparing banking system backing with few whales, eventually bankers will win because they also control fiat some how.


Thus in my opinion XRP/XLM, will be one of the biggest currencies in the future, everything that can be backed with reality (banking systems or anything centralized ) will be always most likely more organized and backed by big entities, making them valuable .

Edit : this is theoretically speaking only, it might be all different in the future, but in my opinion banking system will not just let crypto destroy their grab.

I think in the present era ripple is not the currency of the future, but its role is very important in the world of global banking, only time can answer it.

If that percentage of xrp will be stable for years or more, it has a big chance that it was a real future bank but if that Ripple didn't, the future of it is going to be a bubble. There are possibilities that it can be a new currency of the future but we don't know unless it happens so for now I guess we should just wait and see whats gonna happen for its future.

If Western Union decide to follow Moneygram and accept Ripple for international transfers, then Ripple will takeover Bitcoin as N1 currency.
