That is bad news, but do not worry. They police may only be ordered by the government to catch people who trade bitcoin.

And the wait is officially over!  The worst news in this year is Bitcoin is Totally illegal in Bangladesh. If someone trade bitcoin then he will be punish by police in Jail!

What should we do now, Guys?  Cry
Please change it if you can haha. If not, you should try to make a lot of money before the crypto is banned. But before the official announcement, you should think optimally, all just lying on paper.

Yes, that's right. Bitcoin has done a lot of untimely work that has completely banned the Bitcoin of our country. If anyone in our country was caught working after the bikini then he warned that Strict would get the punishment. Bitcoin is a site through which any person can do any unprofessional work. There is no legal affidavit or evidence in this. So the more part of the work is done through bitcoin.

You know, people like you should not be allowed to talk about bitcoin.
20 years forced labor jail time for every time your say bitcoin.

So you're not allowed to get caught in bikini in Bangladesh

Bitcoin is not a site but you sure are a *****.

Bitcoin was always illegal in Bangladesh, but this is the first time that the authorities are acting against the Bitcoin users. I am worried because in Nepal also the authorities are engaging in a crackdown of the crypto-currency users. Recently the Nepali police arrested more than half a dozen Bitcoin users and charged them with various economic offenses.

They did not charge them for using bitcoin.
They charged them for an unlicensed exchange.

Just to make things clear.
Here (and probably all over the world) honey is legal. But if i'm going to open a shop an sell honey without a licence, without paying taxes I'm going to get in trouble.

every government has different rules, including in your country. Thinking bitcoin as a crime is "excessive" and will have a negative impact on bitcoin, and it would be even worse if many countries do the same thing as your country. it would be more natural if the government only warned people to be more careful in using or investing in bitcoin technology.

Bangladesh should revise law regarding cryptocurrency. They should not capture users because they are just investors and they are not dping illegal. Instead, they better trace and put in jail those who do cyber criminal activity like scamming and phising.
They dont even know that in Japan, bitcoin adds a 3% economic GDP.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-adds-03-to-japans-gdp-claim-nomura-analysts
That is why crypto could be a great help to a nations economy and its community.

Bitcoin gives a financial freedom to persons who are into the bitcoin community, how will it be a crime when posting on blogs, forums, and sharing on social networking sites. It is a digitized form of currency can be used world wide in exchange for products and services without a third party involvement in the transaction and all transactions are recorded in the public ledger. But some use this technology for criminal activities such as drug dealing, smuggling and so on all I want to ask the Bangladesh Government is that all this same criminal activities are taking place without bitcoin too which means fiat currencies are also used in all such activities and why don't your Government take measures for that or will they still stop fiat currency then the Government will have to think of barter system. To the people in Bangladesh all I would suggest is that to get out of your country;D, may be in the future when the value of bitcoins still keep on rising your Government will accept this technology.

That was a terrible news for all of you. Well, I can't blame your government for implementing that law because I'm sure that all they want is only the best for your country, just understand and try to look at the positive side of it. Maybe in their point of view, cryptocurrency gives more harmful effects instead of more benefits in your country that's why they did it.

Though it's very hard to accept, I'm sorry to say but you can't do anything about it unless your government changed their minds. It's better for you to find another way of making good income and never insist to use btc again because you might get caught, I'm sure that you don't want to be imprisoned right?

Bad! sad! but no worries! you could always create alt accounts here and talk to yourself and earn Bitcoins or some shitcoin to receive in the future!! you are making a point by doing this!! you are telling them to go jump yourselves!! banning Bitcoin is pointless because we're still earning it to use it on prostitutes!!!11lol.

it's a bad note, and I'm worried, if it applies in all countries that have not legalized bitcoin, I think spreading and bitcoin volume will decrease and bitcoin prices will go down.
as long as the world government has not made firm rules about bitcoin, then I think all we have to do is keep mining, so it can maintain the existence of bitcoin.

If you have such a policy in your country, it really is a pity for you. In my impression, Bangladesh is a small country, but it is also close to India, and it should be an open country. Is it that bitcoin has already affected your country's banking industry?

Ooops, that's sad to hear it.But still you can hold your bitcoins because trading is the illegal and you can make more profits in holding the bitcoin also but it needs to be in long term.So you just buy more bitcoins and other coins and keep it in cold storage the ban maybe removed in the future.
But you still can buy and sell bitcoins from exchange of other countries because bitcoin transaction is fully anonymous but we have to respect the rules of our country so it is better to stop it completely.

Its a sad news to know that. Maybe Bangladesh treat btc as a threat to its economy.
Just have a vacation to other country and trade your btc there.

I think all we have to do today is keep doing the mining, and contribute well to bitcoin. before the world makes firm rules.
but I'm sure it will not happen, what happens is bitcoin will dominate the world currency.

I think you have to keep silence about BTC. If noone knows you use it, if you dont use exchanges, if you dont chat about it at local social networks, if you dont brag your profit, if you do transactions between users you in trust with, if you dont pay attention on you in general then you will be safe.
I doubt polise will be able check every citizen to find outlaws.

BTC is probably illegal in our country because it may affect the domestic currency of BTC or provide money laundering and other criminal activities. People can not trade BTC, but you can hold BTC, you can also trade in foreign websites.

i was taking to a friend of mine the day before about crypto currencies and how it could change the entire world financial system you what he told me that iam trying to convince the people of an advanced technology and they are still leaving the ice age with no offence to anyone of course but seeing these kind of acts for some governments around the world its like they dont understand the potential behind  this advanced technology  but you have to ask your self this when china banned bitcoin did the Chinese  people stopped the use of it ? ,,, no they just made them selfs a black market which is harder to catch or regulate i hope governments could understand the idea behind crypto currency and legalized at the end  it will be a hard fight but its for the benefit of the world
