This is really sad to hear. I get it that some people want to stay away from it, but punishing others for their involvement? Eh, it's just a step to far. I just hope it will get reversed soon and people can do whatever they want with their money. Worst case scenario here is that other ignorant governments follow this example and make it hard for their citizens. Can you picture a world where people are hiding their crypto from the police? No thanks.

If that's truly implemented then surely this would affect the user community of the particular country very much. For a growing economy inflow of fiat will surely make positive impact upon the growth of the economy. I believe people will surely continue to use through some other means and this seems to be completely a wrong decision from the government.

And the wait is officially over!  The worst news in this year is Bitcoin is Totally illegal in Bangladesh. If someone trade bitcoin then he will be punish by police in Jail!

What should we do now, Guys?  Cry
I am sure this isn't going to deter people from mining bitcoins and exchanging them . I definitely know that there are websites where people can exchange their bitcoins for cash online, I am beginning to suspect that these countries are conniving to bring down bitcoins.

The reason for this to happen is many had inverse their money in bitcoin and bitcoin is not controlled by any of the government.Government will get the fear of bitcoin will replace the FIAT.So you can do trade with some other coins. If that get banned try the another. But don't quit trading,it will help your financial problems.

Excuse me, I do not quite understand how it is possible to track operations with Bitcoin in relation to a particular person. If all currency exchanges occur on informal exchanges, where the user does not even give any of his data, and any person can make a lot of operations with different crypto-currencies per day! Then how to understand that it was a particular citizen who operated with the crypt, and then transferred it all to the Fiat, and deduced it on a bank card in state currency? After all, the proceeds to the bank card in the state currency are not considered illegal, as I understand it Cheesy

Yes Bangladesh and Nepal are 2 asian country Bitcoin is illegal and banned

Aren't those one of the poorest countries there? No wonder they're banning something that can make their people stop working for slave wages.

All cryptos, but who cares? Bangladesh is such a shithole. It will only give people one more reason to move somewhere else, like the nearby India.

The Bangladesh Bank, as originally reported by the Agence France-Presse (AFP), has said that the use of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is unlawful under existing anti-money laundering (AML) statutes.

my advice buy private proxy on internet then change your ip address.

you can buy bitcoin with debit/credit card with hight fees.

dont worry if bitcoin illegal in your country. can goverment jail all people if all people use bitcoin on their transcaction??

why worry about rules your goverment?? if you do not harm others, why do you have to worry...

That's not logic at all. Bitcoin is not a crime. That's the result of the criminal activities that are funded with bitcoin. It affected bitcoin image worldwide and several countries are starting to make severe decisions towards bitcoin. I really hope that changes soon otherwise it would have negative effects on bitcoin.

Is that true ? Why did it happen ? should the government or the police in your country be firmer again, because bitcoin no one can ban its circulation, bitcoin will remain outstanding and do not be afraid to play bitcoin.

sometimes the government does not care about technology. so any technology that can make money like bitcoin or taxi online for example uber in some countries consider it illegal.

We can only hope that your government starts to understand and embrace block chain technologies and bitcoin. It could really help change some countries. For you you may have to make a choice and abide by the laws of your country or not.

As far as working in this forum and earning bitcoins,I would suggest you to use VPN and continue earning bitcoins. If you have any friend abroad using bitcoin, just sell him your bitcoins and ask him to send money to your bank account.Hope this would be little bit useful to you.
You idea was right but its still risky. Earning bitcoin while its illegal in a country is the same as making a crime. Its just so sad that Bangladesh didn't understand what bitcoin really is and how important it was to people who use it. But if you still want to earn bitcoins, I think its not that bad at all because we all know that bitcoin is a big help to us. Just be careful.

Yes, that's right. Bitcoin has done a lot of untimely work that has completely banned the Bitcoin of our country. If anyone in our country was caught working after the bikini then he warned that Strict would get the punishment. Bitcoin is a site through which any person can do any unprofessional work. There is no legal affidavit or evidence in this. So the more part of the work is done through bitcoin.

Bitcoin was always illegal in Bangladesh, but this is the first time that the authorities are acting against the Bitcoin users. I am worried because in Nepal also the authorities are engaging in a crackdown of the crypto-currency users. Recently the Nepali police arrested more than half a dozen Bitcoin users and charged them with various economic offenses.
