Revolution pool grant processed and paid until block 8700.
Thanks for your support and patience.

Now comes a new age, and we have to determine what to do.
I have asked Bter to re-enable MEG in few days, we will see what they do.

In the mean time we need to think about the future of MemoryCoin, and start to support it ourselves since FT left for now.

I'll offer bounty to whom ever can find and correct bugs in the source code.

I'll try to correct the bugs myself if I can reproduce them.

****** So yeah this is a call for community involvement. ******

I like this, fire it backup !!! come on guys

Are there any good reasons not to sell up, and abandon MemoryCoin? Even if a few of us stick with it, will the majority do this?

I will stick with it, I havn´t sold in the whole time and don´t plan on doing so should it go live again, I still see a bright  future for the voting system, so there is hope Wink

Hey, just got an runtime error again and thought I would take a look at the logfiel.
Here are the last lines befor the crashe:

Committing 1 changed transactions to coin database...
SetBestChain: new best=00002c8bb1df8db4c1ebdbde3564f0ffa28bb261161859e038785cf48b2b79fc  height=10480  log2_work=31.800479  tx=12719  date=2013-09-21 11:41:13 dateunix=1379763673 progress=0.999997
ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED
ERROR: ConnectBlock() : coinbase pays too much (actual=10585323168 vs limit=1764220528)
trying connection 183.39.218.50:8555 lastseen=153.1hrs
connection timeout

I am not a programmer, but it seems to me that the system trys to pay out way to much as blockreward, which couses the sytem to crashe. And I notice that the amount the system wants to pay for this block is: Blockreward + 5x Grandreward...
Let me know if you can make any sence out of this or if my conclusions are right^^

What is the version of your miner ?
Does it continued to other blocks, or those it stays blocked on this one ?

It look like someone is sending you a bad block, maybe an old version of the miner (or it's you that is using the old version).

Sorry for the late reply, had an bad storm and power went out Cheesy

Well its the latest version (the fork version). And no, it dose not continue to other blocks. It gives me a runtime error which causes the program to crash.
It dosn´t happen often but once in a while it happens...

Well becours the dev abendoned it Wink
So we have to first find a new dev team, then we have to make some fixes and get a blockexplorer, pool, etz. going...and then cryptsy could decide if they want to add it Wink
Lets see, I hope we get this coin back to live Smiley
