BTW has someone been able to see his BTC or ZCL coins on BTCP chain, or to move/claim them?

I have tried several addresses with https://explorer.btcprivate.org or https://btcp.blockexplorer.link, and nothing, whether the explorers are wrong, whether the coins have disappeared:

BTC Address 1F34duy2eeMz5mSrvFepVzy7Y1rBsnAyWC converted to b1JWGK6p2PoQ6D3mRsQ5o6VwoAHZGANqsZq https://blockchain.info/address/1F34duy2eeMz5mSrvFepVzy7Y1rBsnAyWC
BTC Address 13MAXoPLQEmrtSTASDZrGNNpmsZ1gsAUnn converted to b16pNCzEL9Poy1imjPMzprsMWQ9G5xfAwNS https://blockchain.info/address/13MAXoPLQEmrtSTASDZrGNNpmsZ1gsAUnn

We want to announce a small giveaway, 0.01 btcp for 24 hours of mining for each miner, 2 btcp total! giveaway will go until 2 btcp will not ended Mail us to claim!

https://btcp.zhash.pro/

US and Eu startums. Dedicated servers, fast support!

Hmm  Nice if the mining fees are free but otherwise really confusing to me  "Low mining fees (0.5% fee)"
We are paying giveaways from our personal coins, not from fees. Fees are not to high, we run dedicated servers, and they are not cheap, all with ssd, DDOS protection.
It's difficult to run good pool with fees 0%

According to : https://forgetop.com/

Parameters:

PoW: Equihash
Bitcoin Private will use the same privacy technology as ZClassic.
Total eventual supply: 21,000,000 (21 million), as per Bitcoin (Unchanged from Zclassic)
Difficulty adjustment algorithm: Digishield V3 (Unchanged from Zcash)
Difficulty adjusts each block (Unchanged from Zclassic)
Symbol: BTCP

Could have just rebranded into BTCP.

The fork was merely an excuse for a pump and dump

Perhaps it is a good analysis...
Sad time...
ZCL is really a shame... like others similar coins (only BTCz is a real decentralized animous coin with EquiHash algo).
Is the dev a shame ? Next days will be importants to know that.

Its price should be over $200 seeing the efforts of Zclassic buyers can be said. Off course there were high expectations which drove teh price crazy for ZCL. I can't predict future but right now it really doesn't look good. In future may things looks other way here I am talking from ZCL holders sides who bought to get these forked coins.

This is just a copy of a copy, of course it's not going to be worth much without real devs.

What I like the most and have learned from this epic fail of the latest fork is, these airdrops have lost their shine and attraction once for all. In presence of well established privacy coins with strong communities and holders this fork can't make its place. Just a chaos is this project and those were waiting for free money will end at nothing.

Just claimed my BTCP Smiley

Anyone looking for help doing this just export your private keys from old wallet... Wallet>>Private Keys>>Export

Now download the BTCP wallet...

https://github.com/BTCPrivate/electrum-btcp/releases/

Make a new wallet...

Once your done and the wallet is open...

Click Wallet>>Private Keys>>Sweep and input private keys that we just exported from previous wallet..

Send, job done Smiley

I got it to work somehow. I tried your method of all my private keys and one of the adresses private key were right. So problem solved!
Thanks for the help!
You are welcome I'm happy it worked for you Smiley

at current difficulty this coin isn't any more profitable to mine vs other coins unless the price is more than $200 per coin.

I agree with you on that, I'm currently throwing some hash power at BTCP right now but the return is next to zero... I'll probably give it a few more days to see if earnings improve before I pull the plug.. Sad

Yeah, almost sounds like Legionar has an intellectual disability.

The unofficial price is $230 for the moment.

I was mining ZCL on MPH before the fork with about 40 kSol.  I was doing about 1.4 ZCL per day, which worked to about $200/day up until the fork which is when I stopped mining ZCL.

I switched to suprnova with the same 40 kSol today, and it looks like I'll only be able to do about 0.01 BTCP with that based on what miners with about twice my hashing power are doing:

So how come 40 kSol earns an abysmal 0.01 BTCP?  I mean, I can do about 0.025 BTC a day on NiceHash with 40 kSol.

Unless BTCP hits the ground running at 2.5 times the value of BTC, I'd earn way less mining BTCP compared to just about any other Equihash coin.

What am I missing?  Is the suprnova chart wrong?  It must be, right?

EDIT:  Yes, that suprnova chart is way wrong.  After 30 mins, these are my stats:

So it looks like I'll do about 1.3 BTCP / day, so about what I would expect.

Who is that paying 0.02 BTC for each BTCP ? I also have seen that tweet from last page. If someone really interested should start trading thread using OTC else that is just attempt to create hype. Once deposits on exchanges will be allowed and trading will start normally that price will represent the true value of BTCP in my opinion.

Price on market is how much traders are ready to pay for this. Not how much you want to sell it for.
So who's buying? $230 sounds reasonable.
