True, great observation. That flew right by me. Not a good sign...

The github for bitcoin private which you get directed to from bitcoinprivate.org or bitcoinprivate.com says "Harfork is planned to happen on block 550000" given we are at block 502543 (at the time of writing) and we have 10 minute blocks that is 329 days.  I assume this is a typo if it is to happen this January as block 505000 will make it about 17 days ... much sooner!!!

Does nobody know that Zcash/ZClassic cryptography is supported by Vitalik Buterin and heralded as the future of crypto? If this fork is successful you are looking at an anon bitcoin where the moon cannot be pinpointed.

if "1 btc : 1 btcp, 1 zcl : 1 btcp,"  It makes more sense to keep zcl. So i will zcl HOLD!  Like a better fork than the others. when the snapshot is to be announced?

looking forward to the development of this project, I've always been sceptical of the most recent forks, but to be honest it looks like a great mix of two great coins solving many of the others'  shortcomings. Glad I stocked up on ZCL when I first saw the thread.
On side note really liking the social media activity and the website looks clean! All the best luck in this hard fork

Circulating Supply is wrong on coinmarketcap.
Once it is fixed, ZCL will be on page one.

do you think big exchanges that does not trade ZCL yet, like binance, will credit users with bitcoin private? Given that ZCL is only trading on bittrex and cryptopia from reputable exchanges I would really like to get info. on that matter. If the thing is they wont support it I will just move my holdings to bittrex. Do you guys think hardware wallets will support it?

Please check the official reddit and you'll know that none of this is known yet, not even Bittrex support for hard fork. But the wallet is working fine and you should be able to transfer your coins to the wallet. It is recommended to keep the coins in wallet anyway so that you are in control of the private keys.

This is the irony I find in forks like Monero or Zclassic, the original intent of their creation is anger over developer premines when all you're doing is trading one dev team getting rich for another.
