It ended long time ago, not today, since the day huge amount of hidden premined coins found.
It still good enough for someone who got the forked coin and sold at high prices.
In contrast, it was probably terrible for investors who bought it with their money and not sold before the proof of hidden premined coins found and published by community.

The hidden premine was indeed a fraud, but I don't know how those shielded addresses work. Does somebody know if there could be other networks where also hidden premines exist? How can you even shield an address?

There is no second chance to repair your trust and reputation once it is gone. That was huge mistake with hidden premine coins. Now these days volatility is very high in this market with limited number on trading platforms which shows people are trying to find way out. One by one all forks went to darkness being useless.

The unauthorised premine coins are now gone with the rebase, hitbtc demanded more money so they delisted as Devs refused. I've invested everything into BTCP and lost alot so this FUD is not helping any investors or the coin. Thanks

Ok but if this what you call FUD is not helping any investors or the coin, what is helping? Do you see any reasons that this can make a turn around? There have been controversies ever since this coin was launched.

to be honest all crypto is the same bullshit, no real use. it depends what people think its worth its all a gamble. everyone wants to get rich. for that reason no one will, all crypto will carry on downhill, to many flaws, BTC can not be upscale with the small block size. I made alot money by Jan 18, kept it in and lost it all in various crap. now im gambling my life away as I should of withdrawn back then but im an arse. In my heart I know Ill lose what I got left but keeping it in as I had a few million once might happen again when everyone gets excited over crap with no real use

Mate, I really think that I should suggest you some stuff. First of all, learn from your mistakes and carry on. Consider your mistakes as "experience", no matter how costly they are. Try not to repeat the same mistakes. Next, you've really gotta believe in cryptocurrencies, especially the ones having good goals and roadmaps. See how cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and dash are currently being used in Venezuela, Turkey, and a few other ultra-inflation hit countries. Venezuela's incompetent government literally proved that the idea behind bitcoin is not just a fake illusion. If (intelligent) billionaires like Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey are supporting (a technology), then it's NOT just a gamble, it's beyond that. However, if you're not doing enough research and buying coins like "BitcoinPrivate", then yes, you're "leveraged" gambling. Don't do that.

Don't lose hope, December 2017 will repeat, keep on "BUIDLing" till then; don't just "HODL"!

How will BTCP be distributed?
If you have 1 ZCL, you keep 1 ZCL and get 1 BTCP, if you have 1 BTC, you keep your BTC and get 1 BTCP.

Combining the BTC ledger with an existing blockchain to do like a double fork merger is really a brilliant idea. Has any other project done this before? Now ZCL essentially becomes BTCP futures.
