I quite agree but for me it is in how you interpret what you read or analyze. Even if you are experience but still doing the same thing over and over it is not working. We have to at least upgrade our styles in trading. Buy low sell high is common term but sometimes the work is on where to invest. Many people on social media would share what they think it is a good coin but it is us to make our own risk.

investing to trading is not an easy job there are things you need to consider as the skill (just what you've said) and different strategies.
But for me the most important one is the experience because if you do have an experience you will gain skill and after that you don't just gain skill but experience as well so i think that you really need a experience first to have a skill but in trading even though you have a skill and experience sometimes you're going to lose.

The thing here is that no matter you have experience or not the risk is always present so invest only what you can afford to lose because the market is a wild place you don't know what will happen in the next few days, weeks or month.

Experience and skills is the same thing if only they are relevant. You cannot have experience in a matter or a particular field and not being skillful in that field. The same way in trading you can be skilled in it and not have experience what you should now focus on, is how do you get the skills and coming to the forum is the right step in achieving such objective. What you need to do is simple be ready to read as there are several threads that have been created for same purpose. Read and digest and in no distance time, you are skillful.

I believe that you need both skill and experience to be succesfull at trading.
You need exprience to be more skilled, the more trading situations you have been in, the better you would know how to deal with them and the better trader you would be.

As a newcomer I believe that you don't have a lot of exprience in trading and I would suggest you to trade at low risk before getting into the real world.

Experience and skills are both important to become a successful trader. Experiences gave you lessons and makes you more aware of the things that are happening in the world of trading. On the other hand, skills (such as analytic skills and communication skills) are also important. Not all have the ability to trade, and you wont be able to trade without this skills.
But the success on trading just not only lies on experience and skills. One must also poccess other characteristics that are neccessary to attain this success, such as:
1. Determination - one must have a strong desire to attain his/her goal, and that is to have a sustainable and profitable trading.
2. Patience - as a trader, one must learn to wait for the right time to buy or sell bitcoins. Do not rush...do not panic.
3. Knowledge - must have the knowledge on how the crypto market works and knows a lot about the trading industry.
4. Decision maker - must be a good decision maker. Must be able to analyze and study everything well before taking any actions.

One thing more, as a trader you must Love what you are doing, enjoy it. Work with all your heart, focus, and success will follow.

Both experience and skill definitely factor in. These days a high percentage of trading is dominated by mathematicians and strategies based on algorithms, statistical analysis and other specialized skillsets. The so called "quants". With billions of dollars at stake, trading will always be defined in terms of extremely competitive markets and the brightest and most talented minds will be recruited by big banks and others with big money to throw at problems, in order to beat the competition.

All of the above represents the stock market, forex and similar trading. Bitcoin and crypto trading is possibly less advanced. There are no massive hedge funds or banks involved in crypto trading like there is in stocks. Still, it may only be a matter of time before crypto trading advances to become largely dominated by some of the larger and richer players.

One thing about defining this question in terms of experience and skill, it could underestimate how difficult it is to explain or predict price movements. Most have a tough time explaining why bitcoin's price is moving up or down, or why alt prices are moving the way they are. Being able to explain and predict market movements is something that takes both experience and skill. Also, sometimes price movements are completely unpredictable unless someone has insider sources which can complicate things and negate both experience and skill.

You can't make up a good strategy if you don't have an actual experience. Experiencing wins and losses along your trading journey will enhanced your trading strategy and you can modify it for much better and effective strategy.

Experienced traders still suffers loss but what matters here is, their winning rate is way more higher than their losing rate since they start doing trades. Experience will teach you how to deal with all associated risks in trading.

Skill really matters in trading but it must have a foundation and that will be came from building experience.

The initial capital which you need to invest as your startup in the field of trading does matter but the thing which is even more important than that is the experience and the skill-set which you have in the field of trading. If you are not much skilled person, then it is really very much difficult for you to make out anything fruitful in trading. The amount of capital entirely depends on the crypto coin in which you are planning to trade.

What do you want to know exactly? Buy on dips and sell when price increase, it's not so damn hard. It is harder to not sell when price go down, so what you really need to learn is how not to buy high and sell low, which is mistake large number of wannabe traders are doing and will always do.
