Within two days time majority of the ethereum based altcoins have started to show signs of growth. Same time bitcoin too has grown above $14000 which might take the price much higher than the previous ath of the past year. Ethereum has grown around 15% than the price by the year starting.

No, any altcoins can not same with main coin. I think it will also BTC year 2018 and alt coins will also jump but not like BTC.

Last year is year for all the coins but not like bitcoin but the prices of all the coins have increased a lot in market due to global growth in terms of market and we can expect more growth in the coming year.

hello everyone, in december of past year the bitcoin had your historical fall and some people's sayed which the reason was a "tree shaking," others said that increasing fees and delayed transactions made users migrate to other alternatives using others cryptos. Actually some cryptos like Ripple, Stellar, Litecoin and others experienced a good appreciation in this period. Some cryptos offer low fees, more speed in the transations and more facility in low valor transations.

No doubt it will be the year of alts and there will be some coins in particular can be the face the cryptocurrencies.Ethereum and XRP has already shown what are there capabilities and what can they achieve.IOTA and Monero are also growing with brisk pace.Even bitcoin has a bright future too.These alts were rising even when bitcoin was also rising so it has nothing to do with bitcoin fall and the real reason for rise would be the volatility and facility that these alts offers to the investors and the trust that bitcoin has obtained in last 4-5 years has been the driving force behind the connection of new investors.

Yes, you are partially right, when giants like ETX and BTC grow up at the same time and altcoins grow. But there are also such altcoins that will fall at this time. I hope that in the coming months the market will start to grow.
