Did you know that recently Hasan Shahid, a very strong specialist, had joined the Advisory Board of MinerOne?
I didn't hear anything about it. In what field does the specialist work?
Shahid is a a technology entrepreneur and investor from Toronto, Canada. He has more than 20 years of experience. He set up several companies and he was a consultant for such well-known corporations as Microsoft, GE, Nissan, Procter & Gamble, Pfizer, Vanguard, and the United Nations.
Well, it is clear that this man has experience. Does he have anything to do with blockchain or he didn't work with it before?
He has been keen on blockchain for several years, that’s why he consulted organizations, that work with blockchain, on strategy and investments. Shahid has been a hobbyist miner for some years, enjoying constructing GPU mining rigs. That’s the reason why he is so interested in working with MinerOne.
Whether he just plans to consult the company or he is going to make an investment in MinerOne?

I don't understand why many people think that MinerOne is the best project of its kind. There are many similar companies that conduct the same ICOs. I don't think they're any worse than this one.
Everyone has their own tastes, that’s true. But if you face the truth, you will realize that MinerOne is the most promising company in this field. There are some advantages that they have unlike other companies.
Really? I would like to know what advantages we are talking about.
For example, MinerOne’s yield will be higher than that of competitors, because they will use 100% green energy, which is the cheapest in the world. Its cost is 6.5 eurocentes per kWh.
I would also single out their plan to reinvest their profits in further improvement of the mining centers: service, equipment repairing, replacement of broken or obsolete equipment, etc. All this ensures a long and trouble-free work of MinerOne.
Will they be located in a safe country? Won’t they prohibit mining immediately after the launch of the mining center?
We are classified as a data centre in Sweden, where we will be operating. The regulatory environment for this type of business there is stable. Our headquarters are in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE's position on crypto is clear and friendly, and we don't think that will change.

If mining bitcoin becomes unprofitable for your company, will you switch to another cryptocurrency?
If we can foresee a situation developing that makes mining other cryptocurrencies a better bet, we can use the 23% of net output set aside for upgrades to make the switch.

How difficult will it be for you and your equipment to switch to mining another cryptocurrency? Or will the processors be designed only for bitcoin mining?
Miners can be switched to mine other cryptocurrencies that use the SHA256 algorithm. If market conditions warrant, Miner One may use part or all of the 23% of output set aside for ongoing equipment upgrades to acquire specialised miners for other cryptocurrencies.

What does it mean that MinerOne will be a “cushion” the fluctuation of bitcoin exchange rate?
The Miner One Cushion Effect refers to the difference between speculation in bitcoin and mining bitcoin. If you simply buy bitcoin, your profit or loss depends on whether bitcoin goes up or down. If you mine bitcoin, whether it’s worth 12,000 or 20,000, you still have more than what you started with. So, let’s say you put 14,000 into bitcoin and over the next year it drops to 12,000, then rises to 17,000, then drops back to 13,000. In the end you’ve lost 1,000. If, on the other hand, you put the same 14,000 into Miner One, this amount after one year can generate bitcoin worth up to 4,000 (depending on exchange rate, difficulty, etc.), which means you have a gain and not a loss. This is the Miner One Cushion Effect.

Have you planned your actions in case if the value of bitcoin drops to $300-500? Can you describe them?
If BTC price or mining conditions push it below a level at which we can mine profitably, we will pause mining operations. We will be keeping a reserve to maintain the centres for some time during a severe downturn. If BTC recovers, we expect to resume operations. If we can foresee a situation developing that makes mining other cryptocurrencies a better bet, we can use the 23% of net output set aside for upgrades to make the switch. Please also read page 27 of the White Paper on Company Reserve.

How do you think, how fast “difficulty” will increase in the near future and how it will affect the profitability of your businesses?
If difficulty increases and the BTC:USD exchange rate decreases, this will reduce profitability. But a decrease in the exchange rate can have the reverse effect on mining difficulty, and that would increase returns.

How much ETH have you guys received so far?
Investments in ETH are only a part of the total contributed, we also receive investments in BTC, LTC and EUR. At the end of the Crowdsale, we will publish a comprehensive report on the results. As for independent verification, anyone can check all of the payments made to Miner One by smart contract on etherscan.

Hi there,

nice project. One quick question:

If a tax authority want's information about the clients, will they have to apply for this information in Sweden at the operational entity? Or is the headquarter in the UAE in charge? Who keeps this information?

Thanks

Nowadays bitcoin does not show the best results on the market, so do not expect a super profit from MinerOne, if at all.

I recently read an interesting material in Medium Miner One about predictions for the bitcoin rate this year. So, so it is said that according to the Wall Street analyst Thomas Lee, the head of research at the Fundstrat Global Advisors, the bitcoin will hit US $ 20,000 by mid-year and $ 25,000 by year's end.

Thomas Lee recently confirmed his prediction, tying bitcoin's current situation to the need for many to pay taxes on last year's spectacular gains. So April 17, which is tax day in the United States this year, may well mark the end of the lull.

By the way, are you aware that MinerOne has launched a contest for your community in which you can win 1000 MIO tokens? It is necessary to make a forecast, what will be the cost of bitcoin by the end of this year.

Wow, free tokens, I love it! Where can I leave my forecast to participate in the competition?
