Dont know if this issue was mentionned here before but what do you deep onion people think of the fact Tor might be compromised. Came across severa articles mentionning this over the last few years, last one just yesterday: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-03-02/tor-project-almost-100-funded-us-government-reportIf true than the whole Deeponion project might be useless... Not trying to spread fud but this is the only reason why I did not invest in this coin yet. Thanks in advance for your replies. |

Not trying to spread fud but this is the only reason why I did not invest in this coin yet. Thanks in advance for your replies. But for that reason we keep adding more security layers (and I think that the idea of having a tech from a US military investigation doesn't make it "100% owned by the US").. DeepProtocol+DeepSend will implement more layers to make it truly anonymous  Read Whitepaper. |

Then there is a chance the US government could find our location but we will still have stealth addresses and DeepSend. Plus, the purpose of tor isn't just to hide your location from the US government but from private actors as well. It's not a big concern to me. |

Governments do use Tor for many reasons, to hide their own identity. It could just be that they give money to the Tor project because they can. Other than that I haven't seen any evidence of a backdoor. And the more people using Tor, for example running a DeepOnion wallet, the much harder it makes it to track anyone. |

I had some problems with them too. I wont be trading there for a while until they sort their problems out. I think kucoin will be a better exchange for a while |

Mine took just one day, other peoples withdrawal took more or less. Seems like its like gambling at the moment but the good part is that they dont fail like mt gox and take peoples coins away. |

There is no 100% anonymity on the internet neither Tor nor any other may make you complete anonym. And you're right you can be tracked even through Tor, but it will be much harder and if you don't launder millions a day, then tracking you just won't worth it. |
