For me its scammy behavior (to call it free if it is not free) and if i know this i wouldn't choose ONION as my privatcoin  

Do you pay for it? I receive free coins every week thanks to the airdrop. Do I need to write? yes, but this is how coins grow. Tell your boss that you are going to work sleeping at home but he has to pay you every month... it has no sense. If you want something, you have to do something.

You can get onions without putting any money in on the forum, there are weekly bounties, competitions and giveaways it is a lot easier than you think to get 50 onions. It took me about 3 weeks to get to 50. It is just a way to ensure that people are genuine and involved in the community before giving them airdrop, otherwise, people would make multiple accounts to sign up and get more onions. I think this is the fairest way to do it.

I totally agree. At the beginning, I only had 2 onions and I had to participate in bounties, competitions and giveaways to get the 50 initial Onions for Airdrop. It didn't take me too much. If you want to get it, move yourself and make this happen.

I know nothing is "for free" especally at the crypto world but everyone should be able to be a part of the community not only an elitarian cycle!!! naturally its not free if you had to buy coins to participate but if you do that because uu want to be a part of it and see than that it is not possible for reasons that depends on your person its very dissappionting. If it not possible to me to become a part of the community why should i do even more for these peoples?? I think you would grow your community but instead of that you can distribute the onion to your own wallet instantly. Airdrops are very suspect to me and that didn't change after that experience. Also Votecentral is very useless if only a small amount of people have the power to change things...

It is not just Deep Onion, it's almost all altcoins. Bitcoin is in a bearish period right now, so all altcoins are affected. It is the nature of markets, they go up and down. No one knows how low Deep Onion will go. We will just have to wait when buyers will come in aggressively at a certain price point.

As to when buyers will come back, I have a clear opinion: when new releases of features are made. So that makes me doubt if it's a good idea to release anything while the airdrop continues. Maybe Stealth Addresses are those weren't a core item of the roadmap and would show that development continues. But I'd delay DeepSend for a later date.

Like anything in life you get out what you put in. If people make the effort on the forum they are rewarded. I did buy some onions but the majority were from comps or bounties. Writing a good article is 5 onions, make two articles and a video each week for three weeks and thats 45 onions on its own. 50 is not hard to get to.

You joined here in August, You could have written 2 messages a week and been a member by now. Anyway just get your member status and you will be in the airdrop, think it will take you around 3 or 4 weeks.

Rank on BCTtalk forum condition was there from the beginning of the airdrops and that was more than 8 months ago. It was even higher then as you needed to have a Member rank and it was lowered later on. That requirement is there for wearing the proper signature and more important  for stopping people making multiple accounts to get more coins. If every newbie account is accepted then everyone could make many new accounts and join airdrop many times and ruin the airdrop for honest people.
Bottom line is that no one is making anyone to do something, if you think that writing a few posts a week is too much work you are free to find something easier and more convenient for you.
