Do I need to sell all alts?

Selling your altcoins now wouldnt make any sense. They are all in such deep debt. So if you sell now, you just will realize you loss. Its better to hold them until the bullmarket comes back. Selling in the bear market is always a stupid idea. So be patience and lern to hold their coins. Maybe it will takes some months more. But after that you will be happy when the value rises and finally you can sell them with profit instead of lose.

If you have good altcoins with you and you are sure of their potentials, you might not have any reason to sell in order to buy bitcoin. Allow the values to grow before exchanging to btc.

But anyway if you need money right here and right now you can sell it of course

In my opinion ,No, it is not the time to sell all alts ,it is the time to buy more alt coins .You will get a very good price of alts after some times ( may be in 2 months). Market is unpredictable.

But sometimes it is depend upon your situation and depends upon to you too because it's only you who knows exactly your status in life and also depends if you're already tired of holding it and if you really wanted to sell all your alts. I didn't see anything wrong with selling all your alts so it is all depends upon you.

here is my trick
usually all altcoins are depending on bitcoins rapid price. all altcoins joins that ride and I am taking that advantage
if me I got my investments triple I usually and immediately selling half of my holdings. after that I will observe a 3 hour chat if the price will continue to rise I will sell again. and if the support level will breach and go lower I will sell all and should probably wait for another dip time. surely it will dip.

that is my current strategy , And if I get that coin for 400 and the price go 300 immediately hold is the best way and wait again for 40% gain haha thats its trading

I suggest that it is not a good idea to sell all your altcoins that you are holding just because BTC price is raising.  I suppose that you must give altcoins a good chance for their price will go up too, like BTC. However, it still had better divide your investment, maybe you could sell some altcoins to buy some BTC to reduce the huge risk of your loss and gain more if it could. Everything depends on your own choice! Let's do the best!

You don't need to sell all your alt coins or bitcoins just because of  few market fluctuations. 
Just have patience and wait for your investment to grow.

I think sell some amount of your altcoins but not all maybe a half of the coin's value then invest the money you got into bitcoin. In that way you do not lose all your possessed coins who also got the potential of growing and you also have bitcoin. It only means money, money, and money. The more options you got the better. In the first place, why did you have all those alts? If your have many, you sell some and follow a few that you think would make it big in the market. Look at their project, whitepaper, and team and check it their project is feasible and has the opportunity to grow big.

If Bitcoin goes up and you have a good Altcoin (get into TOP 5) you do not have to worry about selling your altcoin.
If Bitcoin goes up and you have a good altcoin then it is possible that your Altcoin will also rise in its value.
Unless you have an unpopular Altcoin and do not go into TOP 5 altcoin,
then you can immediately sell it and replace your altcoin with Bitcoin.
