I don't think it's a smart move to sell all of your alt coins in any situation. We should always have plans for future because crypto market is not stable at the moment and anything can happen. In that kind of situations you will have some coins to sell and change your investment and some other coins to keep holding in long term. It is always better to have your portfolio divided into different types of investment. Bitcoin will start climbing back to 20k soon but alt coins will also start going up too. I would keep both of them in my portfolio.

i think it depend on you on how you balance your alts. no one can say if the value is high or low. its like a game you can or you can loose. so better think twice

Never sell your entire positions in ALTs. Always keep some allocated into BTC so that you can buy ALT Dips as well.

I always encourage you to do your own research in Portfolio management.

it is possible to bitcoin to reach 20k, but some altcoins do the same, some altcoins is worth holding or to be invest in, there are lot of altcoin that can give you big profits, so you dont have to sell it out, just hold it and wait for the right time to sell, mostly for some alts if the bitcoin price is rising it also follow.

I do not recommend you to invest all in one coin even the most reliable. It is necessary to correctly compile a portfolio of many coins. To distribute your financial risks

if you believe in the projects behind your coins you should "never" sell, at least not with a loss

You just need to be very much careful please. A bird at hand is far more better than thousand birds in the bush. You know the Aitcoins you are holding potentialities already, spontaneously disposing them for Volatile speculative Bitcoin price  may be very risky. If your mind is so desperate as to doing this, you may just try out some and ensure you leave and still hold on to some for inevitability.

ICO    GLUON    It is the first flagship ICO on the Stratis platform and if it is successful it will mean a great deal not only to GLUON but also to Stratis.                                          The project solves this problem. Where do we find ourselves? I think this is the beginning of the path of total automation and against such an interest in virtual reality and unmanned technologies, we will get a smart transport of the future. For the sake of such transformations of reality I am ready to pay    https://www.gluon.com/tokensale/gluid/21/

I think that before you want to sell the coins, you should see the value of it low or high current and the coins that need to sell. I advise you if you have bitcoin at this point you should keep it, and wait patiently because the current bitcoin is recovering vigorously. I am confident that by the end of 2018 Bitcoin will be worth $ 50,000.

I think it is a nice idea. Sell all altcoins and then invest to bitcoin. If bitcoin will increase and increase you can have more profit and a sure profit in bitcoin. Besides it will goes up and down, still hold it. I believe 20k is coming soon.

I’ve heard that when bitcoin makes this epic run all alts will go down . But since I’ve been in crypto that hasn’t been the case. Alts follow bitcoin up and down , and when it trades sideways they do their own thing .

I think $20000 is too much. It will barely reach $15000 by the summer if we are lucky. The growth of the last year was too bullish and correction is too hard so market needs more time to recover and stabilize.

Sell your some altcoin and buy a few bitcoin thats it so your not going to confuse yourself a anymore. If you feel like bitcoin will surely hit that 20,000$ this year then sell all and buy bitcoin and hold.

It seems so. But why still not retain few of the Alts that are standard and doing well. You should ensure you keep hold of Bitcoin for some time to achieve good rewards at the long run as projected.

When I don't know what to do I sell alts in which I was disappointed. Only diversification will help not to worry and always be on a wave. Many altcoins will make enormous profit in comparison with bitcoin. I advise holding only good alts from a top 100.

You must make informed decisions, and not try to guess the time of entry or exit to the market. Speaking about Bitcoin, his volatility occupies an important place, and it is unlikely that in the near future it will disappear somewhere. And one more thing: if several bitcoins are left in your wallet, your children will only thank you.
