The site seems to be completely offline right now. Hate to say it, but I kind of saw this coming. There's lots of evidence pointing to them selling everyones coins. I only had about .002 BTC worth of DOGE on there and only because I was trying to buy ECA at the time. I feel sorry for anyone that has lost anymore than that. They not only took peoples money, but a lot of the coins they had on there have been tremendously slowed down in growth or killed off due to that crap.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

They not only took peoples money, but a lot of the coins they had on there have been tremendously slowed down in growth or killed off due to that crap.

For the market, this is the real problem. Shady exchanges like this one are undermining customer/investor trust and lead to a very negative image for the whole cryptomarket. On the other hand, listing fees for some of the bigger exchanges are ridiculously overpriced, so the new/small coins have to rely on these small exchanges to gain market entry. This is also a big problem.

Yep I completely agree with you both.  I know multiple smaller/new coins that have legitimate and honest developers with a community behind them that were hurt badly when coinsmarkets went offline and eventually ran off with peoples money. When the only exchange you're listed on pulls an exit scam you're screwed until you can get listed elsewhere.... which is difficult if you don'e have a pre-mine to pay for it.

Haha, NO! Since they have to a most certain degree scammed all the valuable coins from their exchange by now, i am quite sure that you will not get your BTC back. Sorry mate!

= Coins where they wouldn't have anywhere else to dump them but on their own exchange, which is broken.

I find it amazing that the Developers are still "enabling" coins for withdrawal... I wonder when they will finally just give it up. (But I gotta admit, I have a very small hope of recovering my few million coins.)

They do not enable anything for withdrawal. At least not anything that carries anything of even small value. These thieves just play for time.

I think they're waiting to see if anyone tries to sue or dox them.  If that happens, they can still release the coins and make out like they were trying their best all along.  If no-one knows who they are, they can disappear.

You should have been able to withdraw your ECA. I know that was like the first coin they opened up withdraws too. It was the sole reason I even had any money on that exchange to begin with. I had a few thousand ECA and unfortunately an open order of like .003 to buy more ECA. I got the ECA back but the BItcoin i'm considering gone.
