Actually, if you're adding it directly in the Command Line Banking, do it like this:

addnode andarazoroflove.org add

Put addnode=andarazoroflove.org in %appdata%\Pennies\Pennies.conf

Create it as a regular text file if it doesn't already exist in your appdata folder. Then restart the client.

ok, do this,
1) close wallet and ensure its not in the process list on task mgr
2) delete evrything except the wallet.dat and conf file
3) start it again when you are sure the con file has addnode done correct
4) wait until it's done, if it freezes up for more than five minutes, just close and reopen it, it'll pick up where it left off (no idea what causes that)
5) use this trade key a90b5cb2a718e799f8cc45a9afcadbf2b31c9fd4

If you have problems with a slow client (high CPU load) or rejected transactions, do the following:

- shut down the Piggybank client
- go to the location of your Pennies roaming folder (C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Pennies)
- rename debug.log to debug.old (mine was over 1420KB and this caused problems).
- start the Piggybank client (also, did you update to version 0.9.6?)

thank you for detailed instructions

I deleted everyting in Pennies folder except wallet and pennies.conf and when I extracted rar file from https://andarazoroflove.org/cryptocurrency/pennies/ Piggybank-0.9.6-Qt.rar.rar everything works well.

I still have another qt application at work which is 0.9.2. piggy - it sometimes gets PoS, do I need it upgrade when I dont have problems? donot I loose my PoS (I made my wallet in September) when I upgrade it today?
PoS depends on wallet.dat or on soe othher file??

I am testing a fix for the stake now, 0.9.7--it pretty much eliminates stake completely but should return the coin back to a mineable state. The dumping of pennies has been sheer and value is pretty much non-existent, eliminating stake should bring a bit back to the marketplace--and if not, its been a great run and at least CENTs will continue to function!

If all's well with testing, I will post binaries in a couple days.

I don't think anyone is going to just give you a few billion. As low as the price is, 1 billion coins will still get you at least 20 LTC on cryptsy right now.

How can you not have at least a billion yourself by now anyway? You have been staking for at least 2 months now and already had "a few thousand" by the time the issue was discovered. There has been at least 6 or 7 cycles of approximately 9 days since then.

The largest single transaction size is 1 billion so if it's a single transaction for 500 million then it won't stake. (It'll try to create 2 transactions of approximately 2.5 billion each when it stakes).

If you want to stake that much then you need to break it into several smaller transactions. Unfortunately this will destroy the coin age.

Love this coin, so I just bought a few million. :-)

For PoS, just leave the client running right?
Even if not mining PoW? Even if my wallet is encrypted?
("piggybank walletpassphrase pwd 9999999 true" doesn't work)
