I have a question, if I put the same wallet file(wallet.dat) on two computers, a client has been completed synchronization, another is syncing. My question: while others send a few cents to my wallet address, what will be happened with the different clients but same wallet address?

Will I be able to transfer out of my current (old) wallet after Jan 8 to a new wallet / Cryptsy?
See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359000.0That is the main thread for CENT, there is quite a bit more information in these pages including information directly from the developer who has taken over/fixed this coin Also the following from https://github.com/RazorLove/pennies (the page for the old wallet) "The latest update requires all users to update to the client version v0.10.0.0 before January 1st 2014 at 00:00:00 GMT after which: Older client versions will no longer be able to initiate a connection to this version. This version will no longer accept blocks from any older versions that remain connected in the interim. Seven days after older versions are disconnected (8th January 2014 at 00:00:00 GMT) the new stake percentage will take effect. This will be a massive reduction to prevent further over inflation from this point forward."

Is it even possible? different clients but same wallet address? Of course, you can copy your wallet.dat from computer A (has synchronization) to computer B, then clear all data file and start the qt client to synch at computer B.

When I get a new coin I REALLY want to mine... I sync it on one PC and then close it and copy the folder to my main server share folder. then i launch and start solo. Then, I copy that shared folder to all my other machines, and using the same wallet and the already synced chain, I let it catch up and start them soloing... no matter which client finds the block... they all pop up the transaction. I have done this with at least 6 different rigs at one time using the same exact folder on them all and solo mining on each one.

asking again because no one could help me, I've never had to update a qt before so i would really like to not mess this up.
I just need to know how to how the update works. my 0.9.6 wont connect to a chain so i'm hoping i can just update the client. any help would be great
I just extracted the new client into a different directory, opened up the new qt, and it seemed to pick up my wallet just fine Thanks dude you helped. it must be connected to the appdata/roaming folder

I really don`t understand what all this stuff about stake means. I have 1.3 billion CENT on Cryptsy. I don`t have a CENT wallet, I just bought CENT on Cryptsy. Do I need to download a wallet and get my CENTs into the wallet in order to keep them after January 8th?

No, but if Cryptsy does delist them you will need the wallet to store them until....until...who knows what. In the meantime, your wallet coins can earn stake (like mining but really just a reward for having your wallet open as a node which helps the network). You may be earning a bigger chunk of a nest of zero worth though if the coin just dies.

Please explain me what's going to happen. I have 1 billion on cryptsy deposit. What will happen if I make one of these things: a) I send all to my wallet. What's the difference between versions I have installed on my PC? b) I leave them on cryptsy. c) Should I do something with them before/after 08.01?

Please explain me what's going to happen. I have 1 billion on cryptsy deposit. What will happen if I make one of these things:
a) I send all to my wallet. What's the difference between versions I have installed on my PC? To make sure everything running smooth download latest version of wallet, in which new fix is applied. Nodes from your old wallet may no longer connect to fixed network, b) I leave them on cryptsy. Leave them there if you want, nothing wrong ll happen. c) Should I do something with them before/after 08.01? If you download new wallet and withdraw your coins from cryptsy and you sit with your coins in your wallet, there is chances you can earn stakes as an interest, which kicks off from 8th January, but with a heavy reduction in a new fix. and at last If i am wrong anybody can help with more info, thats all i get so far lol

c) Should I do something with them before/after 08.01? After the POS reward will be limited on 8th January, an increase in prices are expected in the following days, so you can keep them if you think that way.

I am getting 1 coin for every 12 hours and it reads as mined. I have 121 mil in my account.
Does it make any sense? I have 10.0.0 version.
Regular mining generates 1 coin per block found and is basically pointless now. Is this true even after the updates on the 8th? Has this coin (basically) become POS only?
