I hold some Ethereum and I do hope it will reach $2,000 but I don't see it in right now maybe by the end of this year. The price of ethereum and the rest of the alternative coins depends on the movement of bitcoin.

March has passed and Ethereum didn't reached $2k as OP is asking. Eth is now worth $681 so it will take a long time before it goes $2k. To those hopefuls that it will reach $2,000 you may see it at the end of the year but if not, don't lose hope there's more years to come.

Ethereum price of the bitcoin as of now is $650 plus and I think it will increase more the price of the ethereum and possible become 2k dollars this month or next month. The target price of the ethereum when you started this topic is not already reached 2k dollars but if you compared the price of ethereum of january and now is must lower than price but for sure it will increase again.

This is a market and definitely we can see such movement like that. Everything can be happen either positive or negative but if you will just think of long-term basis then ot can be an assurance that you can get some good benefits about this coin. That is a very ambitious speculation but could possibly and most likely be
reached or achieved at some point in the future. I think we will have to depend
on bitcoins on this, as long as BTC continues to spike up ETH will always have
to follow it’s lead and further allow ETH’s stability to continue to work it’s
prices til it reaches $2k. If all of this happens in the next 2 months, the market
could really pump so much that eveything will change. But I think it’s just
blissful thinking, volatility is so dominant that 2 months will never be enough
for ETH to even reach $1,500.
