If you want bank transfer unfortunately it will take up to 2 weeks with your first notification.

But as a transfer they are trustable dont worry your money will not go away.

If you want sudden transfer you should use credit card payment.

What happened:

I am having a pending withdrawal of about $5800 since January 2nd. No progress made, no human response from support, no response here, on Reddit or Trustpilot. I have sent two tickets to support, firstly curious about the delay, secondly to ask if they would be able to cancel the withdrawal and credit it back to my available funds, since I need it for trading and paying off debt, which is now delayed.

It is hard to believe the argument that their finance department does not have 3 minutes, over the course of several days, to either send or cancel my pending withdrawal. Not to mention the $50 commission for bank withdrawals.

Additional Notes: Incase of no response/no progress: I may be forced to report CEX.IO to various anti-fraud authorities and attempt claiming my funds through European e-Justice. Lastly I would like to mention that there had been no problems with CEX up until this point, not for me atleast.

Update (12-1-18): I am slightly more optimistic about the case due to an increase in activity, responses, etc. from CEX.

As concerns the BTC transations, they are already properly working, and most were already resent with the higher fees. As for the other transactions, we still experience the high load, so they take longer than we want them to do.

Sadly. I don't think CEX has sent me anything yet, though he claims it.

I did some investigating into these guys a while ago, and from memory I came across a few negative reviews on Reddit as well, so this just more or less confirms it for me.  Undecided 

Their website looks professional, but if the follow up isn't there, then that's shocking. I use a few other exchanges that look a lot less professional, but at least they deliver on their promises. I hope you get your funds back!

Now support told me that it could take up to 20 days before they send the payment which means 5th of Feb. But they ignored my request to credit it back to my account.

I already left them a negative vote here, it's pretty ridiculous to be honest. Not only takes them months to verify you but if in the meantime your documents happen to expire, which mine did they will ask for new verification. Extremely slow and unresponsive support team and website.

Cex.io say they will resolve it but tbh they don't give a rats ass and just keep us running around like headless chickens until they have achieved there undisclosed illegal scheme..

I too am in the same bought waiting for a very large sum of money. It has been a month now.

Okay so we have had some positive news from Vitaliy. It's hard to understand why they didn't just announce that rather than leave people in the dark. That's when people panic.

They are having issues with Crypto capital processing payments. I have screen shots of the chat one of the guys had with him on fb but don't know how to load then on here.

I do not usually post here, but seeing all negativity, I've decided to post my experience. (just created an account for that)

I've been using CEX services since 2013 but only last year I submited my first withdrawal. I've had no problems with deposits or withdrawals to the date (I mainly withdraw ETH or € so I can't speak for other coins withdrawals (I've heard Bitcoin network is slow right now, so... can't really tell if it's CEX fault in that case).
On the ETH withdrawal, for me, it has been really fast, takes seconds.. On the Deposits takes about 10 min because they need 100 block confirmations)

Yes, at the beginning, before my first FIAT withdrawal, I was really scared, because of all the negative reviews, but even then I've trusted CEX team and provided them with all the identify proof, mining proof.. even salary receipts which prove my funding source. I've trusted them to also keep this information private, and to the date, I've no complaints on this matter aswell.
It took one or two months to get verified, but once I did, everything has been running smoothly for months now.

I've had a withdrawal on this month already, it took only one day (via SEPA transfer)

Anyway, about the amounts, I only do small transfers so I cant speak for other people that make large transfers.

But I see people trying to withdraw 50k at a time... I would never try that because all countries have central banks, and people transfering larges quantities might get them to initiate an ivestigation on the source of funds, which is OK source, but local governmets still don't trust on profits from Cryptocurrency and they will try to charge you with Taxes. Local banks can also block the transfer because of this.

Also there is a possibility that CEX might not have that kind on money avail at the time, it's normal.

For example if you have 100k in your bank and you go there to withdraw, they won't be able to provide you with the 100k right away, they will call to the main branch saying you will go there to withdraw your 100k. That takes a little while too I guess.

Also I see people complaining about fiat transfers to countries on the restriction list of CEX. What are they expecting? Just withdraw coins to a wallet and go to another exchange where it is possible to withdraw fiat currency to your country OR use services like Okpay / paxum, etc. to do it
It is important to read the policy before any withdrawal. They state the countries in which isn't possible to withdraw to.

About the slowness, I do think CEX needs to expand the team, because they had an enormous increase in users and people these days want everything done right away (me included), especially when we are tlking about peoples money!. So it woud be good to sign in some trusted fellas to help expand.

I really hope you guys get your problems solved asap, I have no connection to CEX team and i am not paid to speak. Just shared my experience because I think people in this situations really need some people share their good experience with CEX, and not just the bad ones, so they can have some relief and believe that everything is going to be solved. Just provide CEX everything they ask for. I recall I had to took pictures of my passport several times before they aproved it (even thou I thought the quality of the first pictures were just fine).

Some positive news Cex have finally updated there situation and have stopped bank wire transfer until they resolve the back log. Also people have been getting refunds to withdraw via alternative methods.

Cex could you please resolve my withdrawal which has been a month now.

They are working on our issues and I'm glad to hear you got your money back. Cex genuinely had issues and were trying to fix it. Some believe they weren't really organized or management were all over the place hence why all the back logs and issues with payments
