Like TradeFortress said, great service indeed! Now I have a good reason to obsessively get online to check market conditions & tune my buy/sell orders. Something that lacked after the wind down of btct.co. Cheers...

I've noticed over the past couple days even, that you all have been working on the site. I must say, so far it's looking great... I'm curious to know more about use of 'Shareholders' from within GHash.IO, as of right now (and judging by some of the comments in the support forums) no one quiet knows how to use the feature (or if it's even a usable feature at this point and time). I ask this as I'm trying to look for an easy solution to hosting equipment (semi-privately) and have the earnings split between "shareholders". Which from what I could gather is essentially what this feature should do? (please correct me if I'm wrong here...). I almost feel like creating an iOS app for this API... almost... lol

I myself would love to see an Android app developed for it as I do not have the resources at the moment to do this. None the less, cex.io is doing a good job thus far.

Hell of a sell wall at 0.012 worth BTC164.5 . I wish I had a screen shot of the Market depth this morning (Pacific Standard Time) & comparing what it is now. It appears that a number of buy orders were readjusted upward making the buy side more symmetrical (for lack of a better word). Strange market...

I'm with you on that one... I've been eyes glued to the screen all day today looking for when to get back in. All in all, I've been loving the site. If you can stay on top of your entry and exit points, it's a nice way to earn some extra coin while trading. Keep up the good work CEX!

Really good service.... YOU CAN'T BEAT AN INSTANT MINING SERVICE RIGHT AFTER PURCHASE... (5MINS) I am rating A+ to this... and I hope this continue as a good service... I would like to point out though... The server IP that is hosting the graphs was blocked by MALWAREBYTESPRO... (Type: outgoing, Port: 59191, Process: firefox.exe) (Type: outgoing, Port: 59193, Process: firefox.exe) (Type: outgoing, Port: 59196, Process: firefox.exe) and so on and so forth... I did not really bother... I just went ahead an whitelisted the IP... coz of COMODO SSL was in place... BTW.. I deposited around 6 BTC already (1btc at first... I was a bit skeptic... then 2btc... then 3btc...)... and hashing good power and can trade very fast too... ALL in ALL VERY GOOD SERVICE... Join and START HASHING! I-M-M-E-D-I-A-T-E-L-Y Did I spell that right? lol --> https://cex.io/ <-- no need for referral...

Hello everyone! I am currently working on a UI for CEX.IO. I am having a little trouble with the trading part tho. Would anyone be willing to help me with that part? All I need is a single PHP script that I can set type, amount, and price and send it over the API. I tried and tried but I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. Something like this would be perfect: <?php function cex_query($method, array $req = array()) { // API settings $key = ''; // your API-key $secret = ''; // your Secret-key $req['method'] = $method; $mt = explode(' ', microtime()); $req['nonce'] = $mt[1]; // generate the POST data string $post_data = http_build_query($req, '', '&'); $sign = hash_hmac('sha512', $post_data, $secret); // generate the extra headers $headers = array( 'Sign: '.$sign, 'Key: '.$key, ); // our curl handle (initialize if required) static $ch = null; if (is_null($ch)) { $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; BTCE PHP client; '.php_uname('s').'; PHP/'.phpversion().')'); } curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://cex.io/api/place_order/GHS/BTC'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $post_data); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, $headers); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE); // run the query $res = curl_exec($ch); if ($res === false) throw new Exception('Could not get reply: '.curl_error($ch)); $dec = json_decode($res, true); if (!$dec) throw new Exception('Invalid data received, please make sure connection is working and requested API exists'); return $dec; }
$result = cex_query('Trade', array('type' => 'buy', 'amount' => 1, 'price' => 10)); var_dump($result);
?>
