If you managed to get on the whitelist you are set to participate in what may be one of the best ICO's this quarter. But don't think you can slack off because you are on the list, you would be wise to note the date and get in as early as possible to make sure you get some.

Yes, you are right currenctly ArcBlock will use ERC20 tokens for initial distribution, as they don't have their blockchain ready. When it will be ready they will do 1 to 1 swap to new tokens, that's actually quite common practice. Their partner CyberMiles will do the same, after ICO everyone got ERC20 tokens (CMT), but somewhere closer to summer there will be a swap for new tokens. I'm sure ArcBlock will have hardcap in a very short time.

I do not think ArcBlock will create a new blockchain. ArcBlock is an "add-on" project for Blockchain technology, and ArcBlock addresses Blockchain's scaling & speed problems.

Aion provides the middleware for blockchains to communicate with each other, and the ability to communicate between them.

ArcBlock provides solutions for scaling + speed + generation for Blockchain technology.

I think their purpose and solution are different so it is difficult to compare. Aion's ICO is over, but ArcBlock's Public-Sale will start on 03.02.2018.

Is the ArcBlock team talking to any exchanges?

It will be nice to observe how the work of team is evaluated by the price of the token at the exchanges.

Some projects have more than doubled in price when the token hits the exchanges and this shows that the token was undervalued at ICO.

For those who are saying that ArcBlock is an overvalued token, only the market at the exchanges will determine if this is true.

Okei guy, I will answer your question. There are several factors that determine the capacity of the Blockchain network:
1) Mode of operation - algorithm
2) Specifications of the platform - type and properties of the Block
3) Mining Hardware System
4) Mining Software
5) Parasites on the platform - CryptoKitties, Cryptogoldenfishes ... (LOL)

The physical level you want to mention may be 3) Mining Hardware System. Want to build a supercomputer for Mining? As far as I know, the strongest technology available today is quantum technology, and we have only made 15 qbit and we are in the process of planning a first quantum computer, and it is expected to have the size of a football stadium.
So I think we can not create such a machine in near day, and football fans can still be assured.

The software solutions are more reasonable and potential, and ArcBlock is a such project.
