I will just reiterate what others are saying:

No, you most definitely aren't late to the field.

Some important things to know, is that blockchain tech and crypto is here to stay.
It is not a fad or a trend, it is revolutionary technology that will transform businesses.
Basically, you will never be too late to the field because the field is permanent.

The other important thing to know, is that crypto is still in it's infancy and has tremendous room to grow.
Although people will say it is in a bubble and the bubble will pop, they aren't considering other bubble economies from before.  The dot.com bubble and real estate bubbles reached TRILLIONS of dollars before popping.  Crypto will still continue to grow this year.  That includes BTC.  Don't let anyone ever tell you you missed the train to BTC.  It still has 2 years of growth left in it.

The question is no longer up to date. Is already 3 weeks old. but today I would not buy. I would wait as all this week develops. first china, then korea and now japan. and who's next? How far does the btc course go down. nobody knows. It is a bad situation in the market

No it's not bad because this is the perfect time to buy. Those manipulators out there are the who are shorting the market and they want to feel us like the market is so bad they didn't notice that if they are shorting the market we are the one who gets the opportunity to buy more. Just my opinion still not late for me.

As we can see the price of bitcoin now are so down, so it's not too late if you want to buy bitcoin and hold it for long term, and many token will coming so there are still a chance to buy those coins or token in low price.
