How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

buying tokens during an ico gives you a lot of bonus and when the coin is launched on an exchange it price would spike up so for me it's best to buy during an ico.

as usually the price of coin will drop when those who follow the bounty program have got it because they will immediately sell it. this is what causes the price will be far below the ICO. but so far I am very happy with ICO because I often buy ICO because not a few rules that will give bonuses.

Some of the newly finished ico has been dropping their prices at exchanges against their ico prices. Take a look at wepower, debitum, adbank and mwatt I don't know if this will a good reason for investors to buy at exchanges rather than investing during ico sale. Maybe this is due to downfall around the crypto.

for me its better to buy in ICO rather than waiting for the altcoin to be release in exchange because most alts go on high during first week of release then after that goes to a big dip for a long time before coming back to sky high again.

In my opinion, coin value depends the project’s prospect. If the project sucks, the coin value might decrease after ICO stage. Even you invest the coin early and have bonus. If the project is good and is been executed well, the coin value might increase.

Situations are different, if you buy the token in ICO you will get some bonus usually but before listing on a crypto exchange, the price may fall and you can buy coins at a good price.

With 5 years experience in the crypto world I can tell you investing during ICO is not worth anymore. Better to wait till the coin/token is on an exchange, let the price drop by 30% or 50% and then buy.

There are some ico which you need to buy in ico and there are some ico which you better buy it on exchanger.
Ico which better buying in ico phase :
1. Ico did a very stricted whitlisted and the project is legit also the dev.
2. Timing of ico. If ico phase is on bullish phase and when coin list on exchange still on market bull it will definitely do 3x on exchanger from ico price.
Ico which you buy when its listed on exchange :

I think we should buy tokens in ICO date. you will buy with good price and get more bonus, you also can get devidend which who buy in exchanges cant have. Besides, buying in ICO date is the best way to support the project succeed.

I would vote for an exchanger because if I buy in ico at this time have a good risk, so I think we can buy in exchangers that already show price and potential coins than in ico have a low price but the risk of loss is huge.

in 2018 many ico, just listed, went underpriced. So I would buy in ico only in rc to get a good bonus

During ICO I can buy tokens only if there is a refund if there is no collection of the required amount. In other cases, I prefer to buy tokens on the stock exchange when it is already clear whether there will be a growth prospect.

If you want to be closely related to the project, then of course you need to log into the ICO and flow in the community. For pure earning money is better to buy at exchangers.

I believe that during this bear market it is more profitable to buy post ICO,but it depends on the type of ecosystem the projects have. Some have big rewards for bounty hunters that most of them will dump after receiving. On another note some have lock-up periods that prevents the coin to be dumped quickly. Do your research and decide!

I have not seen a successful ico in the past few months. It is usually more profitable to buy with the stock market after the ico. Prices are dropping because of bounty awards.

Most of ICO give lots of tokens for team, advisors and bounty hunters. They also give bonus to the investors and it takes time for project to get list on an exchange and usually the price is below ICO. So in my opinion it's better to wait for exchange to buy it.

if you wait for them to reach to exchanges , then the ico will probably end and that simply means you can not avail the bonus. but if your are willing to earn big then it is wise to buy at their pre ico stage in order to avail huge discounts ,

so that you can save big and then sell them later whenever their price pumps althought it can roughly take a long time because we all know that bounter hunters will always dump their coins after the coin gets listed to any online exchange.
