You have to find these projects early on, before early investors earned 10x, 100x or 1000x. Just look at https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico
Everyone that researches icos on a daily basis got atleast a few of the top icos. I invested in lisk and neblio ico and got antshares early on before they rebranded to NEO.
There is no doubt that everyone should atleast invest a small portion of their portfolio in the top upcoming icos. (Always do your own research). ICO investments beat everything else by a huge margin for me.

Sure you can go with 50% or even 200% a year. Every traditional investor would kill for that return (thats why they need a cheap crypto market, to get in after sleeping for to long)
But everyone that got 5x 10x or greater returns will shake his head in disbelief, when people invest only in one or two top coins.

As my username implies, that is what people need to do. I doubled my money even before people get in icos and often times tripled it (not in this bear market), before the coin gets listed on coinmarketcap. Look at what ICON did. Anyone had the chance to get into their ICO. 100 USD turned into more than 9000 USD on top. YOU JUST NEED TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

Use research groups on telegram and ico spreadsheets, learn everything about ico investing you need to know on the internet and just start small. I've acquired freedom through crypto investment, just like many people i know. Just consider one thing: NEVER pay anyone to give you a learning course or anything, the informations are available for anyone for free (even though some udemy courses aren't that bad)

For me, it depends on the coin. There are coins that are really the talk of the town even before they are offered in the market or opened to the public. There are, for example, certain coins that are selling out in their private or limited pre-sales in a matter of seconds or minutes. With ICOs like these, I better go for ICO rather than wait for them to come to the exchanges. There are also ICOs that are even hardly reaching their soft caps. I better wait for the exchanges to buy these coins rather than join their ICOs.

Today is extremely good point to buy coins after the ICO - many of them strongly fall in price - it will be a great profit when market will grow.

Yes, now they are very cheap compared to their ICO prices, so people who find potential in ICO coins better to buy them in exchanges because they are getting them for low price.

there's no one rules to say it will drop or not . maybe price hit 3x then you will regret not investing in ico . also,it may rise then dumB hard after hitting good target . it's free market .you can't just anticipate it .

Normally coins price will be down during ICO and bit low than that when listed in exchanges for a while but after some time it will increase. You need to wait for a while for the coin to rise its price may be for one or two weeks aximum to reach more than the ICO price. Some times the coins may rise x10 times and this was happende to good project coins in the past.

Coins we buy in the ico process are usually sold at a lower cost than the stock market. I do not invest ico, it is more profitable to buy after bounty distribution Smiley some ico's are really succeed but we rarely see that kind of ico's

It's right. In the red market, even promising altcoyins lose much in price after entering the exchange. But in a growing market, a large pool for a bounty campaign, and a large discount on pre-ICO, can greatly reduce prices relative to cost on ICO.

It's actually a great strategy, I should say - ICO prices tend to fall very soon in current market.

It is better to buy in Pre-ICO stage because the price is more cheaper. For example there is lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.

I think that in some projects it would be better to wait for the price to stabilize and start to rise since in the ico the price is fixed and when it goes out to the market many people sell their coins which makes it go down sharply after several months. recover,
to all this it is best to wait until the price is stable and stay in hold

I think that it's better to buy of ICO than buy later at exchange.
Join in the ICO is possible to get a lot of bonus and if it is already listing at exchange and when the price is the same of ICO
you can get a profit from your bonus.

Sounds too good to be true? The Artis Turba ICO is already over and with $5 million in funds the team has already started with the development of the Artis Turba Exchange - and it is expected to be live in June 2018 from where these earnings will be implemented Cool

Forward Together!

There's some pros and cons with this and personally I prefer waiting the coin to be listed in exchange because many are impatient and dumping their coins as early as it gets listed. Yes the bonus is lucrative but sometimes some ICO will give you headaches and the worst they scammed you. So play safe and be wise so others don't take advantage to you.

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

ICO stage the really the best, because you can really buy those coins in really cheap. Because once the coin will be available to the market, some ICO may 2x or more than to it's ICO price. That is the really good side of participating in the ICO, but it is still risky.

I once bought and followed the ICO and it was difficult when we got the trading site the price would rise from the ICO price, I have done this test and I think after I test it better buy it cheap when entering on the trading site

in my opinion buying later on exchange is better than ICO. a lot of altcoin are already falling join a exchange. I think that bountyies are effective in this.

I think you should buy after the exchange, I often see the current ICO prices are always higher before they exchange. And if you buy at the time of the ICO you are more risky when the coin is not exchanged you will lose money. I recommend buying them after the exchange will be safer.

I can say, different ICO, different situations. But quite often it happens that the price of the coin after release drops dramatically and it can be bought even cheaper than on the ICO. But this does not happen with all projects. There are those who fly up after entering the stock exchange.

It is good to join in ICO in that you can get free bonuse tokens and also though i think is risky because you cannot  tell when to increase or fall the value of it still making it up ang gaining skills with it.  If it is a good project as you think then buy as you like.
