Well, i think that most people do not care much about this, but buying on exchanges is sometimes much more cheaper than buying on the ico period because of the dump of airdrops

I think buying in the ICO is always good because we will be getting more bonus and the thing here is we have to find the potential about the project. Research it before investing once after listing in the exchanges the price will go down even lower value.

If you like the crypto project, and you think that it has good prospects, it is better to purchase coins in the pre-sale, when they give a bonus.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on exchanges right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

buying coins when at the ICO will be more profitable, because of there always available for a bonus. and we can sell it when the token already listing on exchange although the price is fall we can still have a bonus from buying the token.

I prefer to buy coins on the exchange. It seems to me that this strategy is less risky than investing in ICO. And I do not really like to take risks.

better if you found a great ICO with huge potential in the future, you should invest in ICO
because as we can see today a lot of ICO scam,
but, if you didn't have a good feeling in crypto just buy it when the project listed on exchange my friend

Yes, usually when buying tokens at the ICO stage will be less expensive than when trading on EXCHANGE, except for those badly sold and sold out when trading. There are still plenty of opportunities for investors to buy good coins when it comes to trading if it's really potential.

Investments in ICO are much more profitable. But in order to choose a good project, you must carefully study a lot of different projects. This is very hard work.

I think if you choose to invest in ICO time then if the project is successful you will already get a big profit even two to three times what you have invested

ICO is choice to go. Because you can easily double your money in a month or two. Bounties are also given on ico phases so you can also make money that way freely. Exchange buying is very risky..
Risk if we buy in exchange? All have risk so there is no decision without risk. All activity involve with risk mate.
Joiningbin ico and buy in exchange have its own risk. However, i will choose both and i separate my money to join in ico and buy in exchange.

Investing at the time of ICO launch is a better option than investing in it later after the coin gets registered on the exchange. You will get bonus tokens in respect to the coins that you have purchased. You can wait for the altcoin to get registered on the exchange then and most of the time the price is greater than the one you invested at the time of the ICO launch. You will surely make some profit then.

It is hard to say which is better since you do not know whether the price will be lower than ICO price or not, I prefer to buy ICO tokens if I think it is promising.

Right now it is very risky to participate in an ICO especially if you are not very conversant with the space. It is better to miss out on 10 % of profits than to go through the hassle of seeing your portfolio tank 90% of the time. I think waiting until listing is the best possible move that one can take

It is good on ICO to buy to enjoy the 30% bonus offered. But buying later in exchange might be profitable also but it depends the perfet timing when exchanges get high offer.

to me ICO's time is the best because after the ico the price may likely increase but during the ico you can buy at the cheaper rate the during the exchange then you can exchange it to make your profit whereas if the prices appreciate.

For me, I will do both. I can participate in ICO projects so that I could have a token payment at the end. Its very convenient because by campaigning for the ICO, sometimes you could have more payment than what you've expected. Buying tokens from the exchange is ok. I only do this if I didn't participate in the project and I really want that token.

I'll be active when the bull market comes back

As my experienced, Better to do trading and join ICO if you think they have potential and product on their project.

A lot of ICOs are scam.
