Now the price of the mainstream currency is too high to be suitable. You can choose to invest in a altcoin with a low price and a promising future.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Perhaps you should divide your money between the first 10 top coins in equal parts. If you are a novice, then do not buy new coins. They, of course, can earn a lot more by buying at the very beginning on the exchange or by taking part in ICO. However, you need to learn more and gain experience.

First ask yourself if you are a risk taker, or like more stability. If you are a risk taker look into the smaller coins (I would say outside top 50), If you like more stability stick with the top 15 or something.

Your portfolio could look something like this:
50% holdings for stability:
-BTC
-ETH
-LTC
(or other coins/tokens/platforms like Monero/DASH/Stellar/NEO)

50% holdings with higher risk/reward:
-OmiseGo
-Lisk
-WAVES
-Power Ledger
-and my favorite Spectrecoin (XSPEC)

Hi all,

i have 2k to invest now.

How i divide it to create a good portfolio and also your opinion of what to buy Smiley

thanks

Look how ETH is going well. It surpassed ripple easily. Trash coins never have chance against ethereum on the market. Ethereum will stay as the second best of the market and it will go up to the further points. That's stable, check it.

Take attention to the IQEON ICO. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2479328.0
This is the decentralized p2p gaming platform with VR/AI focus.
They already successfully finished pre-ICO step and run the additional week with huge bonuses.

You forgot to mention which currency you have whether it is USD or EURO or something else. Anyway whatever amount you hold you can invest it into crypto. Divide your portfolio into 3-5 best coins which you really believe in. Keep 40% in BTC and the rest in altcoins of your choice. You can either divide the rest 60% equally or use specific % for every coin. Make sure you don't invest all your money into altcoins as you will definitely need BTC to buy more coins in future as Altcoins will suffer from dips. You must also hold BTC as it gains more in the year and sees sudden spikes at times.

The most important rule is not to put all eggs in one basket. Secondly you have to decide for yourself what your personal risk taking should be like. If you want to have a high possible profit, you will also have a higher risk to take. I would diversify my portfolio widely. Maybe put 65% in safe bets of the top 10 cryptos, while putting the remaining 35% in coins/ tokens with more risk but higher possible profit. Most importantly, do a lot of research about the coins you will put your money into. Do not just listen to some guys on the internet, because you can almost everytime be sure that they advise the coins that they are invested in themselves. DYOR!

We can give you a lot of opinion and a lot of coins for you to choose to invest but i think the best you can do is searching and  look at the movement of price of different coins then choose by your own,so that you can't blame anybody if you fail because investing is so risky.

You need to diversify and invest in different coins. Consider DeepOnion as a part of your portfolio.
