I'll choose BTC because BTC mother of cryptocurrency and many people are more interested in BTC.
BTC price is very normal if compared to other coins, and I'm sure if I'm invest to BTC I will get a profit on 2019.

You can't go wrong with EThereum or Bitcoin.  They are both solid investments (# 1 and # 2 by marketcap)

I think Ethereum investors will get higher returns over the next year because of the recent dip.  It's much easier for ethereum to 5x back to 1k than it is for bitcoin to 5x to over 30k.
