I think so. Because when an unemployed man earn money he will not try to do any crime. So I think Bitcoin can reduce corruption.

i think no, because bitcoin is separate from government.
Yes It was a big no. Bitcoin is just a currency. In fact it will increase it more especially for those who are greedy in money. To reduce corruption  needs to find who is the one and head of corruption tonstop hin/her of what they are doing. Bitcoin will just guves ad more money but it cant reduce corruption because that is another issue and both of them was not the same.

Bitcoin will not reduce corruption, because there are many ways to embezzle money for corruptors, and if corruptors can understand about bitcoin then they will do things that can harm the bitconer. And if that happens it will be very dangerous if the money is their corruption transferred to bitcoin.

Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?

Good thing, bitcoin is cryptocurrency and cannot be easily corrupted by anyone. Fiat money can be and if politicians wanted bitcoin, then they will do on fiat money first before bitcoin. Bitcoin will never reduce corruption because it is not its work. The only thing that can reduce corruption is the government alone. Bitcoin is digitally created and its nature is in the online world.

I don't think Bitcoin can reduce corruption even it can do increase corruption because characteristic of bitcoin is anonymous, you can't know who is receiving and sending money? But Blockchain technology which is behind bitcoin, will help reduce corruption because it will do goverment is simpler, social funds from the government will more transparent than.

Corruption start long time ago,  even bitcoin is not yet come.  So for me it doesn't happen that bitcoin can reduced corruption.  Because mostly of politics are corrupt so they want corrupt and corrupt until they get what they like.

Bitcoin will never stop corruption. Corruptionists adapt to any form of payment. Even if there is no money to take bribes will not stop. They will take eggs with chickens honey, etc. Corruption is stimulated by a double interpretation of laws.
No, Bitcoin cannot stop corruption. Bitcoin is money , and money is the root of evil. So it can’t stop corruption, and that’s same thing gold and stocks, they too can’t even stop corruption.

Even if you change Fiat to cryptocurrency, just because you want to stop those in the government from stealing and cheating, you’re just wasting time to make thing worst, cause Bitcoin will create a bigger opportunity for them to even steal more money and carry out some bad jobs without being noticed.

Greed is a very easy sin to get into. Only the best of us can withstand grabbing at the opportunity of stealing money especially when you know you can get away with it. I think if the government will tax bitcoin, it will generate more corruption especially in countries where corruption is already prevalent.

Even so if they ban crypto there are still many people that are good in hidden their IP's. And what would happen to those that does not know how to do this? Well, they will still stay on the rat race.

I think bitcoin have no such relation with corruption still because bitcoin is still not legalize in any country. As if bitcoin can accepted as legal currency in any country then hope bitcoin can reduce corruption to some extent. And in other way bitcoin is providing jobs to all kind of people then as people can get such easy jobs and can earn huge money then hope they will lose concept of corruption.

In a way, it can lessen corruption most likely in the government because they can't have any say in it and can't touch it. It will make other people feel a little safe and not constricted by the government.

i dont think it can reduce corruption ,it can increase it more unless there is proper kyc done to illegal holders, there was news back year that majority of illegal business are going through btc as payment.but i think corruption is completely unaffected with  btc as before btc was not there there was lot of corruption as it can be done through any asset which has value attached through it.

Agree, it will reduce corruption in the government most likely, but it might increase it on the other side.

I do not think the presence of bitcoin will not reduce corruption, usually the corruptors are smarter to hide their corrupt money, and the problem is in people not the wrong system.

There is corruption in Bitcoin, often time by corrupt people in government and other power places. They control the media to a great extend, their voices are heard, their fuds are heard and affect the markets.
Yes but we cannot blame bitcoin for it because it is the greed of the people that they are using bitcoin to get corrupt. It is the greed of people that they are using bitcoin to take from innocent people. And using for their money to increase it, future of bitcoin is bright people are investing right now so it will increase the price of bitcoin for new people, government politicians are using bitcoin for corruption because bitcoin is anonymous so it can be the reason as no one can know about the sender and the accepted of the bitcoin.
Human's need are always insatiable which is why some people always let that greedy impulse overwhelm them to the state of being corrupt. This cannot be changed by bitcoin since it is not a form of security measure or something that would prevent someone from being corrupt. Those who are corrupt have always been finding ways to do their dirty deals and they will always do. Bitcoin will have no effect on that.

they will keep the money from the corruption and maybe they will buy bitcoin so they cannot be detected and cannot be tracked by anyone. I think they are too smart to keep away their self from the government detection so they still enjoy the money. but I hope that bitcoin could reduce corruption so we can see that people become a good person and stay away from the corruption.

The only way to mitigate the corruption is to lessen those selfish individuals and no other than that. Bitcoin can't address this issue for it is just a currency wherein it can easily control by people.
On the other hand Bitcoins can control the people fancifully and literally. It controls one's mind especially if can easily outwit by money. To end, corruption takes place because of those selfish people.

Corruption will continue to exist as long as welfare is not maximized and politicians pay huge fees during the campaign, the first thing when they are in charge of course is getting the RoI from campaign capital, and that is only obtained through corruption.
