Yes It was a big no. Bitcoin is just a currency. In fact it will increase it more especially for those who are greedy in money. To reduce corruption  needs to find who is the one and head of corruption tonstop hin/her of what they are doing. I think bitcoin have no such relation with corruption still because bitcoin is still not legalize in any country. i dont think it can reduce corruption ,it can increase it more unless there is proper kyc done to illegal holders,there was news back year that majority of illegal business are going through btc as payment.but i think corruption is completely unaffected with  btc as before btc was not there there was lot of corruption as it can be done through any asset which has value attached through it.

There is corruption in Bitcoin, often time by corrupt people in government and other power places. They control the media to a great extend, their voices are heard, their fuds are heard and affect the markets.

Yes but we cannot blame bitcoin for it because it is the greed of the people that they are using bitcoin to get corrupt. It is the greed of people that they are using bitcoin to take from innocent people. Corruption will continue to exist as long as welfare is not maximized and politicians pay huge fees during the campaign, the first thing when they are in charge of course is getting the RoI from campaign capital, and that is only obtained through corruption.
