I think this is a market movement, this is a very normal thing, do not worry, I think next year bitcoin back to the price of it. Keep the coins in your wallet and do not worry. When others are worried about the depreciation of bitcoins and other virtual currencies, you can buy them and keep them waiting.

Those who're claiming it to be yet another normal correction, normal process of up & down etc ... dead wrong, they're not able to look at and understand the bigger picture here. This is not usual correction where markets would crash in a jiffy and then rebound quickly in matter of few hours to day or 2 days. What we're seeing right now is a mega shift, earth moving from under alt coins' feet. With Korea & China moving to tighten up control of alt coin markets, this will have longer lasting negative impact on markets' health. In just few days we've lost about $500B market cap, people have washed their hands off of their entire holdings in panic sellings and they're in deep red right now. When markets stabilize, coin prices will never climb back to where they were before this crash, reason being again, people in deep red with empty pockets, new investment money would be hard to come by and it would take months to restore confidence before masses would feel comfortable putting in new investment money.

You can't change the fact that for the past 4 years btc has had a big dip around this time.
I think it will be the same old same old.

Of course you can look for news to justify this market drop, but I think that in fact it is a natural process of cutting hamsters. Whales were put on board hamsters, loading them with expensive bitcoins. Then those behind the road Bitcoin bought expensive altcoyinom. Then they brought everything down, the hamsters sold everything in a panic, and the whales bought everything cheaply. And now the process will take place anew. Everything is as old as the world.

any body know the reason for current drop?
Well i think it is because the rumors bitcoin and other altcoins coins will be banned by the government of south Korea and China, but i am not sure about that because as we know that the rumors bannings bitcoin and other altcoins never happened until right now the digital coins are still alive. When bitcoin's price went down will be followed by almost all of altcoins because the bitcoin is the king of digital coins.

Maybe there are events that triggered this to happen to almost all cryptos in the cryptoworld as market looks so bloody all day long. I think the war of France government against crypto and banning of crypto markets in South Korea are one of the reasons why this all happened.

All coins are dropping down because most of the users are withdraw their savings, so there's a tendency that prices of many coins are declining. However I believe that all coins are recovered on the following days that's why it's better to hold it and wait the perfect time before sell it.

No one can specifically tell us what's is the real reason for this dropping. Many reasons such as south korean government regulation, china outright ban of cryptocurrencies, removal of Asian prices in coinmarketcap and so on have been deduced. I think that everything will be corrected soon.

This drop of altoins happens all the time when the bitcoin price goes sharply up or down.  Didnt you get used to?  IN addition to this altcoins were in growth last 2 monts, some of them gave x30 of profit and this all needs in correction. So we are seeing right now. No surprises - waiting and go the the moon!

probably because the price of bitcoin and ethereum goes down so people sell their altcoin to switch to bitcoin or ethereum, and that's why altcoin prices go down, and bitcoin and ethereum prices go down because those who sell them panic when they see bitcoin and ethereum go down a bit and sell it straight away for fear it will not rise again (according to my prediction).

I agree with your opinion this is all happening because people start panic with bitcoin price down so many people sell it, so that's the bitcoin price down

yes, I feel they are taking too fast decisions to sell their bitcoin, because I believe the bitcoin price will increase again

in my opinion altcoin price down (including bitcoin and ethereum) it happens because china and korea prohibit bitcoin, make the market volume decrease and they start to cash out for fear of losing their money, hence the altcoin (including bitcoin and ethereum) price down.

Reason is panic selling. Nothing else.  When price go down due to any reason, then panic sellers start to sell. Then price continuously down. Then smart investors buy more in the dip. price start to rise. others also start to buy. price go up rapidly. This is the nature of cryptocurrency. Best thing is to do is buy in the dip and stay calm.

i think because of bitcoin, once bitcoin dropping, all altcoins are dropping too, it has a passive effect to all coins to be done anyway. and recently FUD news comes. i dont know why people are getting believes on some other news that against on their own coins and believe that like they totally know all about to happen.

Sure there are several theories as to why there is this big drop right now.  Statistics show it has done this the past 3 January's as well.  The new from South Korea and China did not help things.  All of that combined with new users that see this happening and then they panic sell.  Just HODL and things will hopefully work themselves out.  If you got the cash and are a whale, this is the time that you will thrive.

because I think this is the effect of some Asian countries that will plan to ban bitcoin trade, but we do not need to worry about this, because now is the digital era, all will grow according to the times. I believe all will return to normal within the next few days
