I think there are some reasons for this:
1. The market depends too much on bitcoin. That is the face of the market, when it comes to technical dollars just think of bitcoin. It has surpassed real value and is manipulated by some forces, with limited application but a currency to convert to other currencies. Therefore, when the information is not favorable with bitcoin, the market is affected.
2. Many investors lack basic knowledge and skills, they only invest in large numbers. When bad news emerged, they lost faith and immediately started selling off to stop losses causing a sharp decline in the market.

the simple reason was more pressure from selling rather than buying, it's because btc rally so people will sell their's alt or FUD, you know korea FUD ban on the exchange that makes people bearish on btc, either of the reason is btc price movement and that's will affect alts.

Reasons are spelling like fud news but i dont belive about that, becuase when China bannes Bitcoin didnt drop price this much. I think some big whales are making some moves to take btc cheaper.

All coins are dropping because of some country like Korea, China  of banning crypocurrency bitcoin.Maybe in the future they regulate the Bitcoin, thats the time Bitcoin will rise up  again.
