Because after a tumultuous rust in December, correction had to come. It is very long, but there are a lot of positive news related to the legalization of bitcoin.

Everything is dropping because bitcoin is dropping. All other altcoins, and actually the entire cryptocurrency market has a direct correlation to bitcoin price. People perceive bitcoin as cryptocurrency. Only until we see bitcoin pump will we see an increase in the value of our altcoins.

any body know the reason for current drop?
In my own opinion, this decreasing movement of the most of the coins is due to the announce of the two big companies (Facebook and Google) in banning cryptocurrencies related ads. That announcement made many investors to be afraid and selling immediately their holdings.

I think one of the reasons why the cryptocurrency market tumbled, is the uncertainty in the regulatory environment in South Korea and China. What happened was we had some really bad news out of nowhere with Korea banning cryptocurrency and China considering heavy regulations.

Everyone can give you a different answer, but the reality is the cryptocurrency market is much more complex than generally thought. Many factors can have an influence but it is more likely that is a combination of many many factors. Treating the market as unpredictable rather than based on any one factor will help navigate the market much more efficiently.

Correction can not last so long. Most likely in the high lobbies there are closed conversations about the manipulation of the market in order to extract the maximum benefit. I think that it is the big players that specifically bring down the market

It all because most of coins hodler sells their coins and some of them are hodling. And no one is buying them, that's why all coins are dropped. But when you look at the cheap coins, they are rising.

The main reason of dropping in prices of all coins is, when ever any bad happen out in world it effects the traders. Like when China announced that they will no longer entertain the use of Bitcoin then the price fall down.
Even the 2nd reason is when people trade in bulk and immediately sell. Then this is also be the reason

any body know the reason for current drop?
Yes, there are several reasons for it.
1. Regulations of crypto market from different countries;
2. There was a fall in the beggining of February because of Chinise New Year and a lot of traders went to fiat;
3. After it, people started panic and sell a lot of crypto;
4. Aslo, ETH has a big threat such as platform for tokent. All ICOs go fiat sellin very big amount of ETH on the market, what influence its price negatively.
But now we almost reached the bottom, " big players" started to invest in crypro and soon we will see positive rand, do not worry!

It is all about the main leading role of the movie entitle the main crypto reason. Bitcoin is the main reason of downfall of altcoin for it is the leading role in crypto. Almost altcoins pattern to bitcoin price the value can be base on bitcoin value. That is what my idea of this crypto price crash.

in my mind, Almost all the coins are linked or connected in Bitcoin and Ethereum because these two giant coin compilations pump and alter all Altcoin and pump and make them fall into the same path.This is because the exchange rate using Altcoin is via Bitcoin or Ethereum and not through any currency.

any body know the reason for current drop?
This is manybof the coins are dependent on Bitcoin and currently the value of Bitcoin is on the decline trends and that was why so many of the altcoins are on the decline direction.

if you ask like that for now I also feel confused, but I see there are many factors that make this happen like one example like bitcoin itself the bigger the decrease of bitcoin will be the bigger the decrease in altcoin and it is reciprocal with vice versa.

any body know the reason for current drop?

This is natural process of going down in these days. What I mean by this is straight and simple, they are dropping due to various market corrections as well as few of the bans that incurred last week. This includes Korean exchangers going down. This is fact that Korea had largest volume of bitcoin and due to sudden crash of the exchanger everything was settled to down as lots of panic sells happened and the effect of which can be clearly seen on the market.

Adding to this I have also noticed that bitcoin went down last year at the same months and again came back sooner than we could have thought about it. So yeah it’s completely natural and we don’t have to worry much about it.

The big brother Bitcoin is dropping and is gathering other tokens with itself.
Price falling is because of many reasons, There are lots of news that predict the price to fall down and people want to "catch" this moment and sell their coins before it is too late for them to sell their coins for less, so they consider this time to sell and not loosing more in the near future. Also people are tired of waiting and want to get rid of the cryptocurrency which I think they will come back once the bitcoin price goes back to $20k again

bitcoin is the most responsible when altcoin as a whole falls. at this time, and from time to time bitcoin becomes a market binder. a benchmark of altcoin price values and of course at ico prices. it is this factor that makes altcoin rise up and down.

events like this often happen and I think this is natural because all altcoins or crypto currencies are always close to zero.
besides that I also believe that this will return to recover or can be spelled out all altcoin will go back up.
