My investment portfolio has decreased by 60%. After that, I decided to sell the bulk of my coins. It was hard to do because most of them I sold at a loss. But then I realized that this was the right decision.

The market is on downtrend  for long time. I think there is many FUD and negative news is responsible for that. I observed many currency pair most of them are on downtrend. Its a common thing. Don't worry about market will move soon as usual.

There can be many reasons. For example, because there is no infinite growth of coins in the market. Experienced players earn both during growth and during the fall Cool

Coins are falling due to bitcoin. When the market is restored everything will be fine. Just need to wait a little. Have patience and do not panic.

Coins are dropping due to Bitcoin & Ethereum prices are dropping, as these both are king of all coins. There are many other reasons also like ban by government of different countries, negative news in media. With the recovery of market with time, coins will also recover, so just wait & have patience.

All coins are interrelated. If the price for bitcoin falls, all the altcoins also fall. You can trace this trend on the graphs for the past time. It is curious that usually altcoins in% fall several times stronger than bitcoin.

There are a lot of them, because everyone sees this as a big benefit and they want to steal money. They earn dishonestly and this is not very pleasant on their part. Grin

It is possible that the value of cryptocurrency has been affected by unwarranted criticism from governments of countries banned from using cryptos as a form of official trading. But it is also possible that cryptos systems are becoming more and more vulnerable to hackers, who long ago have greedy cryptos hacking into holes, making the value of cryptos go down.
Although crypto is decentralized but not a totally different reality, it still depends on politics, government permissions and decisions, etc. So when it's banned, the price will go down because people won't see value in something banned.

The market develops cyclically, and after strong growth there will be a strong fall. At the moment, we are experiencing a phase of a strong fall. But we must believe that soon growth will begin.

See crypto is really uncertain. You never know what happens and what will happen. The coins can dump for no reason and in similar way can rise for no reason. Looks like total manipulation these days.

I think that at the moment no one should have such questions. The market decline in early 2018 is due to the fact that there was a market oversaturation and a quite expected correction took place. At the moment, institutional investors and large players are planning to enter the market, so they try to squeeze the price down as much as possible due to the altkoins. That is why the share of bitcoin capitalization for the first time in 2018 exceeded the 50% mark.

I think it's beneficial to someone. As they say in common, such a decline in prices is created only to "shave hamsters", that is, those who are not experienced in the market and do not know how to control their actions. Here is on their infliction," big uncle " and have money. Moreover, I assume they are specifically pulling this rubber to prepare the market for the autumn season price increases. Usually in autumn the entire investment sector begins to grow and develop. Let's see what we have prepared this fall, I hope it will be stunning!!!

Prices for most coins went down. I think that this is due to the fact that investors have lost interest in the crypto currency. The market of crypto currency requires new fresh investments of money.

I was in a trading seminar last week and I learned about these cycles, very interesting. Right now we seem to be in the accumulation stage, and it's best for buying as the prices pretty much bottomed..most people buy during the parabolic move, that is a big mistake.

The worst thing is that this post was made in January so the beggining of this year, the situation doesn't change that much so we need to believe even more than every in crypto if we want to see market recover in coming days.

any body know the reason for current drop?
In my ideas the coins have fallen due to the ICOS process encountered a difficulty in the language barrier is typically the china coins. Plagiarize and do the same thing and promise a lot like collaborating with big companies but failing to give me evidence for example. Another problem with ICOS like NEO is that they are Chinese It claims to have artificial intelligence applications but does not prove it. So how can investors differentiate between real projects and virtual projects? in addition the BTC market devalued the affected coins and down by psychological factors.

One of the reason why altcoins are dropping because the btc does. Btc is a kind of barrometer in the market. It dictates the price. The graph on the cmc is all similar on btc’s graph.

Potentially a number of values at least for this quarter ought to have become more unyieldingly considering coins yet possibly some of he largest deals may be finished for the month building room for bull runs on the markets and holdings as well.
