Do you think virginity is still important before getting married?

It doesn't has the value that it had some time ago but this is also related to the culture of the society, i think that in some parts of this world if your are not a virgin you can have serious problems. Luckily i don't live in such place.

As a Bible believing Christian, yes it is still important to me. Sex is a very sacred thing and should be enjoyed inside marriage. Science also proves that when you have sex with someone, you also imprint with that person meaning that a special bond is being formed. No wonder there are people who after breaking up with someone they had sexual relations with are having difficulties getting up as they have identified with their ex. However, even if someone commits a sexual sin, God is still still gracious enough to forgive.

Yes but in our generation some of lovers they have premarital sex which is common to them to prove their love but if our basis is bible that's not right because white gown is symbolize for pure means virginity.

Depends on the gullibility of a country LOL! I mean it depends on the culture of a country or environment a person was raised.
In our country, a lot of older generations think that virginity is sacred and it's only be given to the blah blah blah- well for me that's just plain stupid.
Just because you had sex doesn't mean it makes you a less human being or whatever.
Nevertheless, it still depends on the person whether he/she will be engaged to a premarital sex or just wait till you found your wife/husband.

Of course not. I don't know why virginity is important for many people. I think they are narrowminded people. People can make sex with lovers before marriage. I can easily say that attaching importance to virginity is anachronistic thought.

The country i lived in(Russia) the word virginity is a joke,most women have at least 10 + sexual partners before their marriage
in western countries also the number of sexual partners before a women can get married is around 5-8 approx ,the trend is now coming to asian countries ,back in old days if a indian women had some bf even before marriage and gets married to someone and the husband finds out its a big issue,now a days guys are fine with their wife's past sexual history with multiple guys

Even here in India, the case is almost the same. In fact I would say that the situation is markedly different from the one we had 20 or 30 years ago. Back then, the girls used to be less promiscuous, and most of them had their first sexual experience after the marriage. But the influx of western and Bollywood movies have managed to change this situation.

I think it's still important especially for the Christians. And it's really cute if, the woman will give her virginity as a gift to her husband. And for those who has already lost it I think their future husband will only have to accept it. If you really love someone you have to accept them for who they are right. So virgin or not virgin let's just respect it.

That is exactly what I was saying as well. Nowadays, people are getting married in their late 30s or in their early 40s. It is very foolish to wait until that age to have your first sexual experience. Because the sexual health peaks during the early 20s, and biologically the humans needs to engage in physical relationship at that age.

I don’t think so. In the modern world today, only a few people believe in this idea. Sex is fun and it’s for couples to enjoy even before marriage. As long as it’s NOT forced sex; I see it as something that you should enjoy while you’re still young and of course it's not something you can do when you're really really old. Some people get married young; some people get married at an old age, but how about for those who have no plans of getting married? No sex for them ever?

It is a norm and likewise important.  As of this age it is hard to keep your virginity because some men really wanted to have it.  For them it is the proof that you really love them.  As for some your relationship as girlfriend and boyfriend will last if you do it.  Amd likewise it is like being advertise on television that it is okay to do it while still on that stage.
