I dont understand why you dont give the encryption password or why do you set it. I think the developer want to premine the coins and then give us the possibility too also mine but its shit what do you do. Thats why I not support this shit.

To be honest I don't like regional premines. CopperLark did the same and that's what holds it down imo.

To fix this error,

$ make -f makefile.unix
Building LevelDB ...
/bin/sh: 1: ./build_detect_platform: Permission denied
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/skaffed/Downloads/software/cpucoin/src/leveldb'
Makefile:18: build_config.mk: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `build_config.mk'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/skaffed/Downloads/software/cpucoin/src/leveldb'

Do the following:

cd leveldb
chmod +x build_detect_platform

But not sure if I can be bothered for a pre-mined coin.

debug.log should contain the time when the blocks were found.
I somehow trashed my boost libraries, will have a look later, seems the initial gold fever is over anyways. Tongue

as an evidence to all the others on this forum. I tried to download the binary today and it was encrypted. The question is why ? Then the developer upped the binarys without password. Confused or what ? Then I downloaded it now on the first hours and now this is the network info:

{
"blocks" : 8739,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 9.34881349,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

So 8739 x 1024 Coins are premined !!!!! So its about 9.000.000 Coins premined. Why the developer need to premine 9 Million Coins for himself ?

It started with 2048 CPC per block so that would be 17.4 mill premine. Think people started mining at 8500 blocks or so.

Anyhow, I do not believe in no-premine coins as developers do not get any reward for their work and have no funds for giveaways, promotions, bonuses for work and developments. So all hail the premines or go create your own coin and find out how much work goes into.

It was released in China Bitcoin community August 18 at block 150.

It was released here to the international Bitcoin  community today at around block 8500.

Most mining in the last 2 days was done in China.
