I wonder if anyone is actually going to sue. It seems like there are threats every other thread but never real action.
Yeah, I'm confident they will get sued.

Right on cue, in come the trolls to wreck a good thread! Lets see if we can get K9, PL and PG in here, as well!
What did one cocksucker say to the other cocksucker? Are you going to wear that Josh on your chin all day or are you going to let me lick it off? ...and THAT'S how you derail a thread!

FYI, BFL is actually physically located in Overland Park, Kansas but because of an old post office tradition, the Leawood mailing addgress is used. Has to do with a few things that happened when Overlan Park tried to annex the whole county a few years back. If you want the media in on this, here is the best way to go: http://www.kctv5.com/category/209403/investigationsThis TV station will not back down from any investigation they start. My $.02.

I drove by BFL a couple of days ago and the parking lot was full but the Huber Construction company is in the same buidling, so no way to tell who is who. You could go in No, BFL will let no one in uninvited and I am the LAST person they would let in anyway!

Yes! Get the torches and pitchforks, for tomorrow we march on BFL!
I said it before on BFL forums, but I got deleted. I'll say it again here, where you cannot pretend the issue doesn't exist: BFL: You cannot win this. Do the right thing - refund your customers if they want out. And if you have run out of money, I believe you are legally obligated to file for bankruptcy. If you continue what you are doing, you are committing a large/scale fraud and you will end up in jail.

Making them well known for the lies, bait and switch tactics, unprofessional behavior and clear violation of trade law. I could only hope.

They try to push people who bought SingleSC to buy the upgrade. There is no way I'm gonna do that. I would rather buy from any other competitor. This strategy is really unbelievable and unrespectful.

Borrowed from the Avalon Lawsuit Thread:
For class action you need:
If you are looking to explain this issue to a litigator, then he'll want to see a few things up front:
1) what are the terms of that governed the transaction? 2) what is the timeline of the parties' statements and representations (who did/said what when)? 3) how many orders were placed and who placed them? 4) what was the cost of each order and the total orders? 5) what orders were/were not shipped?
This information isn't always available, of course. Nonetheless, a class action suit needs a few informed, passionate lead plaintiffs to communicate information like this to their lawyer.

It would clearly be in their best interests to simply return the coin using the next round of fool's money.

It seems a bizarre miscalculation on BFL's part if they are genuinely unconcerned about this.
The sorts of people who dropped such large sums on the faster BFL units will surely be well placed to successfully sue them.
Don't underestimate the willingness of pissed off wealthy folk to throw good money after bad in the form of legal vengeance!
