130,000 dollars to invest. whats the best safe coin that you would invest

FYI.  I have done my own research.  that 130,000 is a return from another coin.  Im thinking the safest to see a decent gain this year would be bitcoin or Eth.  Just curious what other think.  130 is a lot to loose so I dont want a higher risk coin like tron or verge.  Maybe Neo but you dont know what the chinese will do.  So should I 50/50 Bitcoin and Eth

Yes i dont suggest you to buy neo,  due to we dont know what will do in this year.  There's a lot rumor about China want againts bitcoin.  So for me,  i prefer you to spend all your money into ETH.  ETH is very promising crypto in this year,  and also i'm sure ETH will reach over $1500 in two months later.. Now it's the best chance to invest ETH,  due to i have looked in market last 24 hours ETH just $1000.

I definitely dont want anything risky.  I think both Eth in Bitcoin will go up a lot.  I think I will do a 50/50 eth /bitcoin buy.  I should be able to see a nice return at the end of the year.  Its amazing themore money youhave to invest the less risks you take

First, you shouldn't be telling everyone how much you have. Good job. Your account is now a target.

Second, one coin, two coins? You want low risk? There is a reason for stock market indexes being the least risky and good performance. One investment can tank, but if you spread it out over dozens, the entire market would have to go bust for you to lose.

That is quite a bit of cash to put into cryptos IMO. I don't think you can go wrong with the top 2 in total marketcap.

Spreading it out within the top 10 or 15 with more weight towards the top would be a good diversification. (May want to leave ripple out)

Scaling in would also be a good plan.

Thats what got me the 130,000.  Im not a big fan of ripple anymore.  After I learned that they dont use XRP in the actual money trasfers from country to country.  To me XRP is useless and I think ripple used XRP as a crow fund.  I would be to nervous to reinvest in ripple again

If you really want to invest all that, I suggest you split the funds. You can spend the $30,000 for different altcoins. And for the remaining $100,000, split that to bitcoin and ethereum since you're looking for safe coins. I suggest you invest in bitcoin and ethereum now as it is starting to go up again.

According to me the best coin to invest is bitcoin.Its is the most trusted coin in the cryptocurrency world.Bitcoin is the leader of all coin.It will give you very good return at the end of the year.

50:50 is good enough to invest in bitcoin and etherium because those two coin are very promissing.
However, i would suggest you to use 10% of that money to spread in good and promising ico.

Depends on the terms of your investments. If you are ready to leave those money in crypto for at least a couple years then you can buy BTC and just hodl. It won't be usefull  on the short terms because the market can dip very fast (like we've seen recently), so for example if any major ICO will scam or get hacked it can cause the bubble to blow up. But I'm sure that BTC will definetely recover in a long term. If you want the safe investments then make some research on stock market, especially on blue caps.

I think it more safe to buy 50% in BTC at lower price like $10k or $9k.
And another 50% you can buy and hold some good alt coins that i think will sky rocket in 2018 like ADA, XLM, XVG, ETN, VSX and some another coins.
Try to buy when it is cheaper, like these days and do not sell if price decrease, ust hold and wait to profit even it takes days, weeks or some months, dont be weak hands.

Along with BTC and ETH, I would recommend the OP to also invest in some other altcoins like Ripple, Stellar, Dash, Doge or low priced coins because at present this low priced coins are rising 100% or above in single days. This will yield some erroneous profits and can make your portfolio jump high.

I recommend investing in altcoin SXDT only, because the increase in price is very fast so the profits are very much
