The beginning of the year isn't really something nice and happening for bitcoins but I do think that in the upcoming months the price can easily become double of what it was in December..
I don't believe that it will get quadrupled or anything because even... Getting it double of what it was before will take up too much of attention and investment.

Not expecting for bitcoin to attain and overpass its all time high at $20,000 this year. If its overpasses this ATH this year, maybe we can see again a new ATH when all will be going smoothly after this big correction.

Bitcoin prices in the end of 2018 will increase over the first few months, but it's not just the price of it increasing that its users have increased over time, I guess its price will end at 30k by the end of 2018.

currently the mempool is clearing up and the fees are coming down very fast. the suggested low fee is 20 satoshi/byte and the highest is no more than 60-70 satoshi/byte. and if this continues we can see the start of a rise and if the ATH ($20k) is broken there will be a very easy rise ahead.

with Lightning Network which is currently growing (nearly 100 nodes are active with 3 times as many channels) we can expect a lot of positive good news for bitcoin. this year will be the year of lightning speed and low fees. paying for coffee in matter of seconds for no fees.
all of it will lead to another booming adoption and growing price. the rally can be huge.

in other words last year it was 1400% rise and this year it will be the same. reaching $100,000 will be ~600% rise.

I am not sure about $60k but $40k through the year 2018 would be prettty possible, as stated by talkbitcoin member that the network fee will be reduced,
people will start transacting much more than before through bitcoin and also pending transactions would be confirmed, the change in fee structure is main problem for bitcoin users, if the fee is reduced, bitcoin will surely reach a highwr record

If bitcoin will release Lightning network. i expect 60,000-80,000 increase price and that's my prediction though do you diligence research about bitcoin. Disclaimer: Don't try to evaluate my prediction its just my opinion.

The way Bitcoin dropped drastically within a couple of weeks was a surprise to me. I can not predict about the end of year price. It could drop further or it could increase beyond everyone's expectations. Whatever the case, all the best to it.

i am looking the prize and chart btc market is going up and down its fluctuating now end of the year bitcoin prize can reach $20000 above and then we can do our work properly by that prize  like who people are waiting for the profit they can do easily their work on that but we just looking right now when the prize will up and grow after the right platform we can do speculation and the prize of btc can reach $25000 till and other crypto will increase with btc whrere people can do other activities also.

Nothing is impossible when it comes to BTC,but I personally do not expect that 2017 can be repeated this year.Last year was incredible in terms of price,but it show us that infrastructure on which BTC is based have a lot of disadvantages.Increase in price is create big problems for exchanges,fees are become too high and transaction too slow.In this moment price is maybe more than expected,and I do not think we should expect something more until the issue of scalability is resolved.

I'm thinking that price in 2018 will depend on how fast SegWit will be finally accepted by major exchanges,and developing of Lightning Network.Also price will depend on how will some countries regulate trading&mining and a general attitude towards cryptocurrency.

I will try to be realistic about my predictions and say that at the end of this year BTC price could be 30 000$ or in the best case 50 000$.But as many predict we we can expect big corrections.

Let me guess,  I think it will reach at $50,000 - $100,000 at the end of this year.  That is only a guess.  But I am not expecting too much this year because  of the unstable price of bitcoin anything can happen and I hope that the next happening will be great for all of us.
