Thanks man. Is that the skunkhash one? I tried it but nothing happens, it just sits. Using the other miner I did what you said and got t55x12, but with it hash is 450 even with 1 gpu. Yeah when I do them all, the threads and warps are different, but the hashes are all about the same at 441-450. 590's would be ok with me, that's a good step up. using this miner: https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/tag/2.0-bitcore.v3Think it might be the miner. I can try boosting the ram if it comes to it, would take a few days. with all 8 running it shows 2.6 out of 7.9 usage, virtual mem at 43101. Maybe it's the intensity? It always sets to around 14 and the program ignores any -i flags that I put in there. **edit, added --lookup-gap 2 and getting all 590's now, much better, forgot about that. still room to improve. got T56x16 now, whatever those numbers mean. The ccminer from palginpav version doesn't matter, there have been no commits or updates for Nscrypt for years either way use the most recent if it does for you. I know that all RAM is not showing as utilised, nor was mine. Showing 400mb usage at 4GB in the system and 400mb with 8GB in but wildly better performance. Excellent news, for 1080ti you should try lookup-gap 3.6 maybe a bit more extra. I have seen many people claiming 700/720/750khz with a 1080ti so I know my config must be whack. That's pretty good man, do you mind if I ask your settings? I can't seem to get more than 450 per 1080ti. Running i7 8600 with 8 gpu, win10x64 ltsb, 8GB ram, 120GB SSD, 60GB virtual mem space. CPU clock is at 4.26 on all cores, 8 threads fully maxed. GPU clock at 1898, ram at 5005, undervolted to 900mv. That's the timetravel miner right?
You can also try adding -D in your config and 'pause' at the end so you can see for yourself the hashrate per combination. It's pretty quick, I did some autotuning myself and improved my hashrate in a few minutes. The best for my GPUs (also 1080 Ti) is T56x20. Some notable configs are T24x20, T28x16, T28x20 and T56x16. Also memory is a big factor here so try overclocking memory. I have mine at 1607mhz core and 5702 memory gives me 650 kh/s+. Good luck! EDIT: Also make sure you're running the x64 version of ccminer 2.2.4 Thanks a ton guys. I'm getting 640s now after putting T56x20 and bumping mem to +500. I will try higher mem boost in a bit when I can be here to watch it and make sure it's stable. Can't believe I didn't try that before. I think because I tried boosting mem with equihash before and it wasn't stable, but diff algo must just be different. It could have been the core though, I was messing with both at the time. Been out of the game a while and back in now. lookup-gap higher than 2 lowered hashrate, but possibly just would need more tweaking of other settings to fine tune. Guessing now I could go higher if I lifted the undervolt but I'll keep it the way it is, these suckers produce some serious heat at stock settings. Got a nice setup with exhaust going out a window, but still want to keep things operating on the cooler side. 640s over 450s makes me happy. Yeah I noticed bumping from T56x16 to T56x20 boosted the cuda threads, nice.

Looks like a couple peeps just dumped some shares and then the panic sells came in. i cant increase look-gap higher than 2.. it says out of memory

The first one who posted here is Onion now, there is a garlic, I will develop a ginger coin, chili coin, broccoli coin, pepper coin etc by the way interesting project! I think you better develop bread coin. It would go hand in hand with Garlicoin. Perhaps make it merge minable with GRLC for extra credit. You should then also go for oregano coin and perhaps even olive oil coin. All great garlic bread ingredients.

The local wallet (Garlium) has changed it's address. The balance is correct but I can't find it in the explorer https://explorer.garlicoin.io/What is the problem? UPDATE: in fact it didn't change. But the receiving address is different from the address that I inserted in the bat file when mining... strange

https://www.reddit.com/r/garlicoin/comments/7v199w/asic_resistance_40k_premined_coins_problem/REPOST FROM THE DISCORD ANNOUCEMENTS
ASIC Resistance - AN ASIC HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED
A short while ago we were alerted to what could be an ASIC on the network. It was however at a low hashrate, thus could be explained by cloud computing or simply someone with a reasonably large scale mining operation. This led us to discuss a potential hard fork, once more research had been done and it was confirmed that an ASIC was active. Our research is not complete yet, and any actual hard fork will of course have full involvement from the community once the situation is clarified.
Premine funds
It has also come to our attention that a premine address is potentially not honest, and has in effect premined funds that may not be sent to the airdrop fund. The vast majority of the premine is honest, and will be airdropped shortly. The development team is working hard to figure out who owns the wallet, and we are working on a potential fork to prevent those funds from being spent - this means the address, and all the coins that have been spent from it will be invalidated and banned.
The current evidence points to a member of the dev team owning the wallet - we do not know who, though we have ruled out some of the team.
We didn't catch this earlier because we were naive, and didn't believe that a member of the dev team would be malicious. With hindsight this was a clear mistake, and for that I can only say we're sorry, and we as a development team will work as hard as we can to rectify our mistake. Whoah. The developers are surely new to such development but this goes to show that the development wasn't well thought out to the least. Can someone with knowledge on such cryptography comment on if an asic would be feasible to be developed on Garlicoin's algo?

I am not sure how they can be sure that a user has an ASIC when no ASIC was ever developed for Nscrypt. They are going off someone with a huge hashrate must be an ASIC which is actually most likely just a well optimised 100GPU+ farm not some custom ASIC. Whats this about a hardfork now? Would that mean the coins we are mining now would disappear if they are trying to roll back? Is this hardfork to another hashing algo due to the apparent ASIC they have discovered? Garlic explorer is down now also so we can't see what's going on. What to do?

I think the thief will not be able to get the new GRLC (after the fork). Also to solve any issues with ASIC.

Personally, I doubt there is any ASIC for Garlicoin. On the subreddits, there have been several tutorials on how to use free cloud provider resources to mine GRLC with enormous hash rates effectively for free. Also, I've seen a post of someone offereing 10MH/s++ for $20/h. Imo garlic is way too small for anybody to spend energy on developing an asic. Let's hope the negative news don't damage the image of the coin any further

Make sure you add -l before it. Code would look like this: -l T56x20 Note: That's a small letter 'L'

Anyone knows about the future plan of the dev, so that those who invested in this coin will not lose the trust they have.

No any plans. Their coder steal coins and go away. Price will go lower and lower by ASIC Miners. Old ASICs for this algo cost less than $100 and do 5-35 MH/s
