Bitcoin is useless

I am amazed with number of people being fooled with BTC:

1. Transactions takes hours
2. Fees are high
3. Development team sucks, uncapable solve scalability issues for years
4. Its not anonymous, every solution to make it, failed so far
5. Its centralized: who is biggest hash power owner? Who is biggest miner hardware provider? Who owns most of bitcoins? What is % of Bitcoins in coldstorage and what in exchanges ( Ye Mt Gox )
6. There is 0 economics for BTC, it just tight to USD with liquidity providers, cut that and try to value pizza box with just BTC
7. Its not store of value, its not digital gold, and it will never be 100k USD. Because it has no value. It has value only for energy probiders, hardware manufactures and random phils.
8. Its not insured, If some crap happened to your BTC, its gone.
9. Bitcoin has a limited supply, but it does not help much. Bitcoin has a code that can be amended and its enough of small group of people to work together to support that. Question really is: do someone need that hassle? No really. Bitcoin has satoshis, that currently meaningless and just nice numbers after dot, but this a very well painless way to inflate any crypto currency and its up to liquidity providers. In some point, they are right for saying that bitcoin is useless, i am not a bitcoin hater. I am just a bitcoin user who realizes everything that it is not good 'as of now' and it is currently 'useless'. I said it is useless because the transaction time takes a lot of hours compare to the minutes from the past few years, if bitcoin will not get into the normal state where the fee and the speed of transaction is fine then it will be just useless for more years.

you have a point, there are things that are not good in bitcoin.Bitcoin is not perfect but that does not mean that it is an utterly useless thing. Keep in mind that many people have benefited from bitcoin,many people will still say that it is useless but I do not care because I will still get paid even if they say it is useless. It is useless?  then do not use it,go for altcoins instead. You even have the time to write this long message to say its useless. I personal like Bitcoin. If you think Bitcoin is not right for you. There are other alternative coins out there with cheap transaction fee.

me too i really like bitcoin and its not useless because bitcoin can change a life by means of financial, it cant be useless if only you know things on it and if you know all the knowledges for you to change your mind that bitcoin is not useless, they think bitcoin is useless because they dont know what was bitcoin and what bitcoin can give.

You come up with all this issues regarding bitcoin, transaction fees, delays and all that, you forget to mention that Bitcoin has helped the cryptocurrency market in so many ways, and even still helping, it can be used to get any alt coins of your choice, something ethereum cant even do for some coins, yes Bitcoin has flaws, but thats no reason to call it useless, Hodlers of bitcoin ( I mean real hodlers ) wont even complain about such fees like that, because i think BTC has done more good in terms of profit, than most alt currencies could ever achieve. So please get your facts right

Bitcoin was the cryptocurrency market, and it's success spawned all the altcoins. Some alts have legitimately made improvements over Bitcoin as far as speed, cost, anonymity and scalability goes, but there's no doubt that the majority of alts are pointless garbage coins. They're not serving a market purpose but they're good for scammers and gamblers to pump and dump. But the fact also remains that Bitcoin's weaknesses provide a market for the legitimate alts to exist. People not complaining about transaction fees are clearly not using the coin for transactions, and it's much less interesting as an asset than a currency.

Just in case, this is the point which I agree with. The point which I don't agree with is that they are not serving a market purpose. In fact, they are serving a very important purpose or end if you please. It can be claimed that they are contributing to the redistribution of wealth, something like natural selection unleashed in financial markets. Everyone is free to invest in anything they please, and if you aren't sure, just keep your money in a bank deposit or even in a deposit box in a bank. But if you are, this is your choice, and you are the one to face the consequences of the choices you make. Isn't this what laissez-faire economics stands for?
