Most of the promising ICO's won't facilitate airdrop in which they just rely on bounty campaigns and I did not join any airdrop because for me it is just waste of time because most of the created airdrop will ask you to make some tasks like share or retweet their posts but still no tokens in your wallet in the end and if they give mostly are no value in the market. Some airdrop are also scam and phishing sites that sometimes you may mistakenly input your private keys instead of wallet address so for me better you join the bounties than these airdrops.

Personally I have received about 10% - 20% of tokens from airdrops
Luckily some tokens have gained me considerable profits
Some scammers use airdrops to get our Private key,

Its is a good information to us,on how to gain a free airdrop coin and become profitable ,but as  far in my experience when i joined in airdrops in more than ten times iv'e never been received even a penny  airdrops coin into my wallet,thats why so we could not suppport to buy those name of airdrop coin in the market ,to even use it for holding or for trading  investment purposes.

There are many airdrops is not profitable only tokens stock in my address, but some airdrops is so profitable and its help me to invest in some ico and earn moneyyy, profitable or not be thankful, cause its free.

Maybe I'm just a lucky person that I've received such freedrops(eBTC) that have a huge value in the market before. But it won't happen again and I knew it. People think that having these freedrops coins today it makes us profitable,but absolutely no! You are right, airdrop can be an alternative to supplement your income, I get coin from airdrop and it is very help me to fulfill requirement.

i'm not so often enrolling airdrop or bounty program and not too concern about new comer token or new altcoin even my friends says to me it's profitable however as airdrop participants most people will get it for free and regardless of its value it's will profitable because people didn't spend their money to buy the particular coins but in my view the participant of airdrop mostly not support those coin because if they paid then usually they will sold out those coins immediatelly

That was the concept of airdrops but now, some of the airdrops require or demands too much before you can get the token they are giving away. Some airdrops might pump their value and this will literally give you profit. Some airdrops might not gain any value because of their own reasons. Airdrop of course is vey very profitable especially if the coins given from airdrop will hit in the market.

I think some Altcoins that come from airdrops have no value is because the way it has been obtained by the user. Giving away your cryptocurrency for just participating is one of the common indicators that you are willing to give away freely your project. While other successful Altcoins out there only gives their coin as a payment for their bounty campaign which is really good for people who are really participating for it. But there is no harm on trying to join all of them as it is free money if you hit the right one.

Not all airdrops is profitable, and most of the airdrops now got no value, usually its hard to get profit in airdrop because its a free money and many people claimed it, so the value will be drop once it hits the market, I have stop doing airdrop for a long time because most of the coin I got was scammed

Bitcoin isn't profitable its just a free coin so technically you are not making profit out of it, profit is gained through investment and on airdrop you just signed up then they will give you free coins. Bitcoin is a free coin and it is not profitable? correct me if I'm wrong I think you've mistakenly identified bitcoin from those free airdrop coins or tokens those coins are distinctive to each other so they have their own name, you can actually identify it from their bounty thread where you've filled up your airdrop entry, It is not a simple sign up agreement as you need to pass their rules in order for you to be qualified for the payment, their distribution may take place after the ICO or the bounty so you need to know and wait for it.

airdrops are rarely profitable specially when they do it based on the amount of bitcoin you own in which case it depends a lot on the amount you hold!
most of the times the payment rates are too low and with their low prices you don't get anything. you are better off claiming faucets!

i once got 100000 coins of some shitcoins just because i was a Hero Member and it was worth 0.0001BTC which didn't even cover the exchange withdrawal fee!

Not all airdrops are like that. Some coins are handed out by having bitcoin.


If the two bitcoin hard forks are considered as an airdrop then those two forks are the only ones that gave me a decent chunk of fiat. The other ones i've joined recently doesn't have that much value, but collecting them won't hurt because they could be worth something in the future.

No, airdrops are like faucets a waste of time, you may be lucky and earn some money once in a while but for many people around the forum it is simply not worth their time to claim airdrops with the hope the coins they got are not worthless, find other ways to make money and then buy good coins that are worth your money.

I did airdrop a little bit when I began out but that was while I was learning the ropes, now I prefer to trade because although you can make money from airdropping you can make substantially more money from trading!
